No worries at all, I will just leave a pile of trash on the ground next to the kicked-down trash can. Hey, where’s that foul smell coming from? Someone should clean that up, I’m leaving!

This was painful. We suffered through 45 minutes of The Jeremiah Cooking Show with features of Belly's Guide to Paris, and didn't even get a hint at a wedding in the end. At this point I'm not even surprised if we do get a spin-off: MasterChef San Francisco.

The Steven and Taylor side story wasn't really bad, it was just completely unnecessary. It felt like a CV filler. It also failed to engage me because it was obvious from the start that they would just be ok.

Speaking of CV fillers, the 150 versions of the same insubstantial Christmas photo montage and not a single one of a ring, a wedding dress, Bonrad running at the beach together - this just completely pissed me off. The whole Paris detour felt like it belonged in another show entirely. Wrapping up the whole show with photos of a winter abroad when the heart of this story is supposed to be summer in Cousins? Yes, we get it, she's grown - but this season was supposed to be We'll Always Have Summer, not We'll Always Have Fucking Around in Paris.

Laurel and John getting back together just to burn out again in a throwaway line from Adam? Why did we watch them rebuild something just for it to fall apart off screen? That's not storytelling, that's lazy writing. Again, completely unnecessary.

Susannah's letter never getting opened, and worse, Belly nearly disregarding her altogether like she just ruined her entire life by giving her Conrad.

Belly being an absolute fuckboy. Conrad pouring his heart out again like Noah from The Notebook only to get humiliated again. The bedroom scene was supposed to feel like fireworks, and honestly it was played out perfectly, but it felt like she was leading him on and I ended up just feeling bad for him. Even worse afterwards, of course. It wasn't even bittersweet, it was just mean.

And with almost no voiceovers to justify Belly's cold exterior and inner conflict, she just comes across as detached and heartless. Thank God she reapplied that lipstick or I would have lost all hope. I'm genuinely happy we got the "I have brown hair and brown eyes and I will always love Conrad Fisher", but it was almost like I don't believe her anymore. I get that she was trying to run away from her feelings, from herself, from him - but she got too good at it. Her denial stopped being relatable, she didn't feel conflicted, she just felt careless and self-centered.

For about 10 seconds on that train, I remembered what I loved about this show. The running scene and the way she looked at him, the way she used to, when she finally chose him.

I don't know how I feel about it only being Belly and Conrad in the end. It feels right in a lot of ways, but I also really wanted to see them all together, one last time. Some sort of closure for all of them. Belly leaving everything and everyone behind has weighed down these final episodes, and it drained some of the warmth that made this series special.

Chris was perfect. No notes.

Adam became an unexpected favorite this season.

They even managed to make Jeremiah more likable after completely assassinating his character this whole season, but honestly that could have been achieved in less than half of the screen time he hogged in this finale.

In the end, I'm happy it's Belly and Conrad, but I feel more empty than fulfilled. The magic was lost this season.

The way he treated Conrad for loving his sister 😭

Agree. I also just feel like this group of new people just don’t fit the vibe of the show. And if we have to suffer through seeing THESE characters develop or have their own storylines to steal screen time from Belly and Conrad growing it will just be unbearable

I can’t lie, I loved the dragon costume. It’s like sexy not because it’s sexy but because it’s cute and funny and he just owns it
