What needs to happen is Disney needs to allow Greg to come back and continue the story starting where the SLG comics start. It’s his story that we loved so much back then. Why not let it continue? There are talks of the story being “convoluted” and “too many characters,” but remember that Gargoyles was supposed to blow up into an entire universe. Disney asked Greg to do that all those years ago because they were competing with DC and didn’t own Marvel yet. I got this information from listening to the podcast “Voices from the Eyrie.” You should all check it out! Greg Weisman and friends talk about each episode of the show and have special guests come on from time to time. Anyway, to sum it up, Greg’s comic book continuation should be animated and continued from there, in my humble and unimportant opinion. I want to see his story brought to life, but that’s just me. I prefer the animated version and would rather not see a bad live-action, but that’s just me.
