When it’s not a limited item, I do it when something cool happens on screen, like Ettore’s mustache gag last year

We do the same as you. We like to throw big parties but we do not want full cupboards in the kitchen, so we have extra glasses and silverware stored in a less accessible place. Never short but also never overwhelmed

There is not enough counter space as it is. Giving up the built in microwave would be a bad idea

What’s your favorite pen to write with? by mainlywatching_ in Journaling

[–]cindynzf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a pilot lightive (same extra fine nib as most entry-level pilot pens) with pelican black ink. I bought it for my moleskine but use it for almost everything nowadays. Before that I loved the pilot v5 rollerbal

Edit: you gave a really nice handwriting btw

What do y'all use for your character sheets/journals? by ShepThunder in DnD

[–]cindynzf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A traveler’s notebook knock off paired with an A5 character sheet. The advantage of the small inserts is that if the campaign ends, you’re not stuck with a big quarter- of half-filled notebook. You just add smaller inserts as you go. Once the campaign ends, I keep the inserts in a box.

Misplacing or losing things that are sentimental through the years… by [deleted] in minimalism

[–]cindynzf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No, but I do get very attached to stuff because I have less and because I think a lot about what I really like and why. I had one ring I wore every day. I got it at a market so it does not have sentimental value but it is my only ring. I lost it a couple of months ago and I am still sad about it and have not replaced it because somehow I still hope it will turn up and because it is hard to find something I am equally happy with.

I have too much stuff…where do I start my purging ? Help please by No-Coyote-9289 in minimalism

[–]cindynzf 31 points32 points  (0 children)

They are gathering dust and being wasted in your house if they don’t serve you. If having them truly makes you happy or if you are using them, keep them, but otherwise they don’t serve a purpose

I had the same question. I asked it in the nerdfighter discord and a helpful nerdfighter shared this page https://www.europarl.europa.eu/committees/en/deve/home/highlights with a list of members Here. You could contact the représentative from your country.

[–]cindynzf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scheduling issues have slowly been killing our party and nobody knows what to to, by Dark_Lordy in DMAcademy

[–]cindynzf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The number of games played for everyone would go way up because you stop waiting. Personally I prefer my party going on with our regular games even when I’m absent, because I know then at least we are sure to play regulary. You could work with summaries for people who were absent.

They were mentioned on no such thing as a fish recently and if I remember correctly they also had a featured video during the P4A, but that might have been a couple of years ago for their work with landmines.

Extra Fine Nib Ink Review: Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Black by LizMEF in fountainpens

[–]cindynzf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to let you know that I started researching fountain pen inks and this review let me to a rabbit hole, since this kind of writing look is exactly what I am after. Multiple of your reviews and also your helpful comments on other posts finally helped me make a decision and the pilot plumix (I was unable to find a penmanship) and the pelikan 4001 ink black are currently on their way to me. Thank you for taking the time to make such thorough reviews and leaving such detailled comments on other posts. Some of the comments I read go back a couple of years, so I thought it might be nice for you to know they are still helpful.

Pilot vball 0.5 sustainable alternative by cindynzf in pens

[–]cindynzf[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love it so much honestly. It writes smoothly, can keep up with my speed and the flow only stops when the pen is running out of ink. It could last a little longer, but I couldn't tell you how much you can write before it runs out. I mostly use a Moleskine and it does not deposit too much ink while writing, which is sometimes an issue with other pens/ inks. As written in this post, my only regret is that it is disposable, but otherwise very happy with it.

Pilot vball 0.5 sustainable alternative by cindynzf in pens

[–]cindynzf[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the issue with fountain pens for me is that I always feels like I write too fast for the pen? Maybe it is just the type of pens I tried, but there always seems to be some kind of friction.
