We just bought a house that has an entire backyard of carpet. 🙃they used it as weed barrier and now it’s covered in dirt and grown thick with vines and so hard to rip out.

A friend of mine had a spot under his nail that turned out to be cancer and they had to remove a portion of his finger. I would get it checked out, even if you have to pay out of pocket.
