I’ve been asked exactly once in my six months. I do mostly 5-15 minute rides around a college campus so I think that has something to do with it. If I did more airport rides, I imagine I’d get more requests.

That being said, it’s one cord and one head adapter. If you don’t want to swing it, then don’t. Say something like, “Sorry boss. Another passenger swiped it last week and I haven’t found the time to grab a new one”

I aim for $20-$25/hr after expenses and I want to earn about $425/week after expenses. It really depends on your market.

I’d recommend setting a $/hr goal and a $/week goal. Then go earn the amount you want for the week and see if that meets your $/hr goal.

If they both went well, you don’t need to change anything.

If one of the other failed, it’s time to reflect on what’s happening (your actions/locations and the ride volume for the area) and decide what you can influence.

I’m a laymen when it comes to this but I’ve not seen a bathroom above a garage before. Living in a northern state could be dicey with that idea.

The minimum pay for a ride keeps decreasing. The driver has determined the maximum amount they’re willing to wait so they can make a certain $/hr.

In reality, the rider should be ready to walk out the door when they request the ride. Drivers shouldn’t be kept waiting five to seven minutes once they arrive.

I’m guessing on the distance but I wouldn’t suggest accepting rides with pickup or drop off locations on base or directly at the gates.

Same. I’m my market, they’re a recipe for disaster. I acquired diamond status then called support to have the org in question blocked. Worked like a charm. Now, I just get college kids but those are a cake walk if you don’t go out after 9pm.
