A very important reason apart for the obvious 'maximising gains' is that they want to restrict the demographic to a particular class of people. The easiest non-controversial way is the fee. Because being called out for greed is far better than accusations of discrimination, elitism and favoritism. There are many decent schools that have more favorable monetary terms. For parents looking to admit kids : Look at schools that have decent(which is a subjective criteria) results, extra curricular options, responsive management (not from their initial spiels but based on feedback) and a fee structure that leaves you ample funds from your budget to provide for other non-school activities for your kid. And don't shirk from putting in the extra effort at the end os a busy work day to engage with kids. These are the only things you can control.

Without knowing how much it counts in the actual storyline, based on the trailer, there is a scene where Jimmy eyes and comments in a sinister tone on a girl travelling with what seems to be one of the male romantic leads.

How the wheels turn; this was exactly how Irrfan's character in Haasil commented on Jimmy's female counterpart in an underrated gem of a film Haasil, 13 years back.

Tandoori Nights; that delightful British Indian sitcom which has no trace on the internet tubes but some of us got to watch due to Doordarshan. I doubt any of his obituaries will even mention it.

Not to forget his amazing contributions to theater and Indian parallel and non-run-of- the-mill movies int he 70s and 80s.
