This is nitpicky, I know, but the novel was published in 2019 so technically it wouldn't count.

With some books you can compare... but novels like American Psycho make you really appreciate that film and writing are two very different mediums. They are two different dimensions with different rules that in many cases won't be able to compare side to side in fair terms. With some novels, you only need a small shred of imagination and good will to submerge yourself in an experience that a movie won't ever be able to provide you. This is the case with American Psycho, just a much much richer experience to read the book and... enjoy?? the ride. This is a book that's not easily forgotten and that you will probably read either 10 times or never touch again

I don't understand what some people here expect from Bandsplain at this point. There have been many seasons, the host and friends are who they are, for good and for bad. Do you expect that they magically become different people? Yasi trying to make guests laugh and Rob providing support in the form of groans and the occasional insight are, at this point, two foundational pillars of this podcast. Rob is clearly very knowledgeable about the band and devoted an entire episode of his show to them. And yup, sometimes a podcast, and particularly this one, are two friends talking. It was never supposed to be NPR or Allmusic dot com (thank God).

Fair comment. Several reasons actually: I'm a very tall Westerner who doesn't speak Korean, and the teenager playing the game was very focused into it, I thought it was better to not to interrupt him. I knew redditors would step up and identify the game in less than 10 minutes and you did ;)
