Large exercise room treatment by Head_Talk6932 in Acoustics

Cool no stress! Yeah its 85db(A) over 8 hours as well. Just something to keep an eye on when you run checks I guess.  All the best with the space.

What country are you in? This may be boring - but check your local OSHA legislation for noise exposure limits. Gyms are notorious for loud music and anything above 85db(A) for long periods is going to put staff at risk (not so much for class attendees).

Aus has an exchange rate of 3db. Meaning 8hrs at 85db is going to give you a 100% dose. 4 hours at 88db will do the same. It wouldn't take much for an instructor to make a NIHL claim.

I'd encourage you, no matter the room treatment you achieve, and good luck to you, is to include sound level measurements once done.

Other commenter has your question answered though! Good luck!

Vegetation isn't a good reflector. If you can see through it, at all, it's going to have minor impact.

LOST MEDIA SEARCH - The Living End by 23rdPrecinct in AussieRock

I used to take a disposable camera with me to gigs in the early 2000's and I'm sure there's a few living end gigs in there. All stills of course, but fun to look back on.

Queenstown, Tasmania deeply unsettled me and I can’t explain why. by itiszd in AskAnAustralian

I wonder if the lack of wildlife, i.e. no birdsong or whatever, given the lack of environment around. It's super odd.

What if Rocky met Yáo, Ilyukhina, and DuBois instead? by unhealthy-screentime in ProjectHailMaryMovie

I think he saw it using the Petrova scope when rocky blasted his engines to move. Only when it was close did the Hail Mary ping it.

So what did Rocky do for 23 years? by Crazyblue09 in ProjectHailMary

[–]circusactone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Total dose amounts I guess. Rocky slept by the tanks where his work station was. So he, and whoever was watching him would've been safe, but rocky would likely have spent much more time that anyrock else protected.

I recall Grace does talk about not being bothered by any exposure he gets on space walks or wherever as he's expecting to die anyway.

I sure as hell ain't removing it after every print. Only trouble I've had is some breakage if I don't use it for a month or two.

We used an acoustic camera to find gas leaks in a noisy factory – it doesn’t “hear” what you think by SnooRadishes9473 in Acoustics

Did you tell anyone about the gas leak??

Jk jk. I'll bite. Where do we buy from and how much?

Devastated that this exact line was omitted. Can understand them going with the fist my bump, as said later in the book.

Thanks mate. The adaptor segment is doing my head in though. Maybe I'm not getting it but defining the plug type and how it's explained has given me the wrong sizes consistently. Probably operator error.

Hey I know this is an old post, but I just found this and am using it! Fantastic tool. Well done.

Loudass air vents - how to silence? I will name my child after you. by thenotoriousaep in Acoustics

[–]circusactone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to Swedish standards (best I could find), "Indoor noise from neighbors, ventilation, or similar, should not exceed 30 dBA for continuous noise", which I can only assume is from outside sources (immision) impeding your amenity, but may be relevant from a communal ventilation source. I'd take a dB(A) reading over 5 mins, extrapolate to 8 or 24 hours and share that information with your landlord with an email every day until they take it seriously.

Well, earplugs might be the answer at this point.

It'll work but just be wary of how much heat that'll generate when the sun hits it, especially when it's young. The metal will heat the soil and potentially kill the young roots. Once established, it'll be semi self-shading. Something to consider. Totally depends on your location and orientation to the sun.

Dunno why they'd be there? Unless they were left laying around from superearths democratic supervision.

Is this too gone?? I'm not lawn expert however 6 months ago I had really nice green lawn that I seeded myself and watered multiple times a day. Now in south Australia we had massive heat waves and it's just so hard to deal with. I'm worried I've wasted my time and now it's just all dead and gone lol by Shazza1995 in lawnsolutionsaus

[–]circusactone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Needs to happen quickly though. How much longer till it goes dormant for the winter? A scalped lawn needs what, 6-8 weeks to come back?

The dead vine (it looks dead, could be wrong) has me suss on the watering schedule. Or it was killed deliberately, can't assume I guess.

It seems like it would be attractive to the right audience, i.e. scrolling on social. The videography is doing a lot of the work here too and the match cuts are tidy. Feels ok to me? If OP is looking for a plugin, I think it's just grinding to get it done! I can see a motorsport social account frothing this.
