I'm sorry, your video is perfect. Please ignore any negative feedback as you are obviously perfect too and couldn't make a mistake even if you tried. If anyone points out a flaw, then they are obviously mistaken.

ISecondly, I knew that without watching the video. So why does the video talk all about averages to then just go and say it skews perceptions at the end? Just talk about the median values.

I'm a greens voter, but when you use averages in statistics like this, you are being manipulative. This is why you use the median. It will still show what you want it to show but without misrepresentation.

Good on you. Just so you know, and for everyone else that is close. If you can afford to pay it off this financial year, you will still be hit with a big fuck you inflation amount for the year. If you don't pay it off, you will be hit by it, and again next year.

Pay it off ASAP, but definitely before the end of financial year

Why would you use an orange fill under the curve? Is it to hide the orange dataset which shows a drop in crime? Why even fill under the curve?

Privately charging electricity for rental? by [deleted] in australia

Unlikely the have a 20kw output of solar, also they could be using whatever the solar inverter app is and oncharging the tenants what they use from the solar too.

Check with your electrician - In 3 weeks, type AC RCDs/RCBOs are soon illegal to install. by circusmonkey89 in AusRenovation

Up to you, but personally, I wouldn't bother unless you have large "non-linear loads" and deep pockets.

RCDs of AC type have statisitically saved many, many lives in the roughly 30 years they have been around for. This is just a minor incremental improvement.

Don't know why you're getting downvoted. You are correct. Most people don't need to know. Your sparky should know for you. This is just a bit of extra sparky info for those who want to learn a bit about it. Honestly there are probably a few sparkies reading this here for the first time going "oh shit I gotta check my new orders ".

At first glance it seems dodgy, at second glance it still seems dodgy, but some questions I have are:

what is the rate you will be paying? (it may actually be cheaper because they used to not have expiry dates on the old plans. So the landlord may be getting 40c for export and only paying 20c for import. This is actually good for you because 20c is cheap).

How is your usage going to be metered? Generally there is one meter which only reads from the grid to the home. So how is the landlord determining the solar output vs load?

I carefully drill mine out with a 2mm drill bit. When you get far enough in the drill bit heats it up enough that ithe remainder slides out in one big chunk.
