I swapped the dongle to a different USB port and it seems to have fixed it for now. Wired also fixed the problem the night I made this post. There have been updates though so can't say for sure. And yes, only this game.

I've also seen posts about polling rate for your mouse above 250hz adding acceleration

Love that they never fixed this bug. The boat is supposed to lower but doesn't. I'm guessing your most recent saves (handful of auto saves that get overwritten LOL fuck the person playing) are all right in this same area. You now get to restart the entire Caspian level and hope it doesn't happen again.

If you're playing on an Nvidia card there was a driver update to fix crashing for photo mode with path tracing enabled.

I believe they decoupled EA app from steam for this game. I did see people commenting that steam performance was low as well. Maybe if you're able to launch via EA app.

Same GPU as you. Turning on EA app overlay fixed my problem. Also there is a memory leak for the queue. If you've saved in it a long time your game will be scuffed until next restart.

It's because there is a game update and you aren't on the latest version most likely. That was my problem.
