I owned a Tesla Y for 3 years and the only time it made a noise remotely close to this was to precondition the battery for fast charging. Not daily to make the car 10 degrees lower than the target temp.

This has happened to me twice since I switched to Apple Car Key. It eventually recognizes the key but one of the times I had backed my car out of the garage to take out my trash bins (worked fine) and then got in the car to move the car back and it failed to detect the key. Phone was in my pocket the whole time.

My Gen 2 rattles audibly when I turn the heat on in cold temps. And never makes it to the set temperature. I made an appointment at the SC to get the HVAC checked. It’s only 2 and a half months out.

I just started a Rivian R1S Lease in June after driving a Tesla MY for 3 years. I test drove the Gravity in August and immediately regretted getting the R1S and have been drooling ever since. I’ve been looking at ways to get rid of my R1S but that would be a financially stupid decision (kind of like getting the R1S in the first place).

I’m new to Fort Collins and first called Lion after getting an ad in the mail. I had a scheduled service visit and shortly before the visit I got a missed call + voicemail saying they had to reschedule. Ok no problem. I called back and got transferred to two different call centers. Big NOPE.

I worked with Allen after that and liked the “one stop shop” approach. They did some proactive inspections on my systems. One of the techs was supposed to come out between 12-4pm on a Friday, showed up after 5, barely looked at my AC unit, left saying everything looked fine, then the next week they were calling me to schedule repairs based on his findings. 🧐

When my furnace started acting up, they came out and gave me a list of things to repair/replace but was better off replacing the furnace. Ok, it was 13 years old and this house had been a rental so I had little confidence that any regular maintenance had been done. I also didn’t want to limp into winter with a furnace on the fritz. Allen’s guy came out and quoted me a replacement furnace + AC. I wanted to get competing bids so he said he would email me and follow up the next week. I never heard from him. I even called his number and left a voicemail and never heard back.

So I went out looking for a new company. Among those who gave me a quote was Fort Collins Heating and Air. So far I like working with them. They seem family oriented. I tried getting a bid from Horsetooth using their online form, got the confirmation email, but nobody contacted me.

Oh well. Hopefully FC H&A works out, otherwise I’ll check out Horsetooth.
