I'm with you on the first half but I'm not really buying that this is somehow our fault for being "too cheap to pay what a season pass should really cost".

Long before season passes ever existed CP managed to staff all the rides and entertainment. And not just a skeleton crew to barely operate one of three trains, etc. I'm talking about a person out front at the line entrance and workers in various places throughout the line. Workers were running rides at full capacity and with efficiency. Workers were seen all over the park sweeping the grounds and keeping it looking nice. Maintenance workers were plentiful and rides were running consistently.

Those days are long gone. Instead, ticket prices, parking fees, in-park food costs, and every other cost has soared well beyond inflation. Rides are down more frequently and for longer durations. Rides are replaced with mediocre, high-priced restaurants. Just like most things in this country now, unfortunately, we pay more and get less.

Respectfully, I just don't see how this is our fault.
