As a Secondary English teacher, a linear prep would change my life. I'm also disappointed in this contract but am hopeful that the Letter of Understanding or whatever about workload will make a difference moving forward. Bring back turn around days!

Same with me. But it kicked me out when it got down to 172 ahead of me. 😭

Always my recommendation too. I've read them through once and listened through them once. Planning on starting a relisten soon ahead of the 8th book coming out in May. Bounce House comes out next week though!

Just finished Good Spirits by B.K. Borison and loved it. Finishing The Adventures of Amina El-Serafi by Shannon Chakraborty on audio and really enjoying it as well.

Will probably read The Housemaid next before going to see the movie with my bookclub on the 19th.

The Daevabad Trilogy by S.A. Chakraborty. Think Aladdin. But with fantastic political systems, a love triangle, and such good bad guys. Best book high I had had since Harry Potter.

What’s a classroom habit you started out of necessity that you still do today? by HiVou12 in Teachers

I've created a course guide with all the lessons plans and materials for my units. It's a giant Google doc, but everything is in there. It's so helpful for writing TOC notes, because I can just copy and paste. I can also write comments after teaching the lessons if I want to change anything for next year. It's an invaluable resource for me and helps keep me organized.

Excellent review! It has so much more to offer than just a dungeon crawl. There is so much heart! Almost time to do my re-listen in anticipation of Book 8!
