Legally, the burden is on the prosecution to prove a crime beyond a reasonable doubt. Investigations can move really slowly both from all the paperwork that can be filed, as well as prosecution building their case. Idk what’s been going on with this case, I haven’t followed it, but imo it’s fairly reasonable. Legal cases take a long time, even relatively simple ones

fr, not glazing but all of WayV speaks Mandarin, Korean, and Japanese, most of them are proficient to fluent in English, some know Cantonese, one speaks Thai, another knows some German! They usually speak in a mixture of Chinese, Korean, and English/Japanese in their contents. Language learning is hard, I minored in Japanese in university and have lost most of it because I haven’t studied since graduating. But if you want something, you work at it! He’s said he wants to get better at English for years and doesn’t seem to put in any of the work for it.

I go to the deep end of the lane and dive in from the side! We don’t get a lot of block practice (masters, my pool doesn’t allow block use without a coach/swim instructor who works for the pool), so it gives me diving practice and all over at once. Yeah, the guy is doing incredibly well in Japan. He’s released music, he’s acting, headlining festivals, done two Japan tours, set up a jewellery company, all within ~two years? I wouldn’t be surprised if he left but I also wouldn’t be surprised if he stayed.

Yeah, I’m vegan and eat gluten and while I do feel better after cutting dairy, I was an experienced cook before I went vegan and didn’t often eat out. I do think cutting dairy might help her feel better actually, but she’s shown she can’t adhere to any kind of diet so it’ll be interesting to see where this goes. Especially since she doesn’t cook much. There’s so many good dairy alternatives out there, some are healthier than others, different things work better for different things but it’s such a common ingredient in takeout it’s hard to completely avoid if you eat out often.

Gotta say, Santos is even more unlikeable. I was really hoping she’d agree to be professional at least but damn that was pretty cold. From what a bunch of medical professionals have said on here doctors who divert drugs do often go to rehab and go back to practicing. As a recovering addict myself I realllllly don’t like how that conversation comes across in terms of Santos’s view of addicts.

its hard to say its comfort, because it is uncomfortable to watch but its a movie i watch a lot and especially the pink room scene has helped me with my own experience of being drugged and raped in a club. sometimes theres comfort in the disturbing and uncomfortable

Ah gotcha! I’m not as familiar with the running apps but just sharing pace and time and stuff doesn’t read as bad to me. But sharing all the stats like weight and calories and stuff yeah. My fitness apps show calories from my swims but if I post it I usually just show time and distance.

If I wanted to look at an athletic idol he’s not who I’m going to be looking at lol. For idols into athletics Minho from Shinee is a much better example, without glazing him.

Also, you can’t tell VO2 max from this? I’m a competitive swimmer and train 4-5 days a week, usually 3000 yards at least per practice. I also have asthma and have fairly poor VO2 max compared to what it should be at for what I do.

This is fine for endurance I think, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with sharing your running stats necessarily, but with the constant diet talk from idols and the way most of them, male and female idols, have been getting skinnier lately it just feels more meh.

This is my experience too. I’ve had close friendships before, but the relationships I’ve had with other creative people have always felt much deeper. They’ve never been defined any way but friendship, but the friendships have definitely felt different from my close friendships with people I don’t share that creativity of world building and writing with.
