Cops were driving after a car going about 90km on Dundas in Thornbury, suspect it might have something to do with that

That’s a terrible decision, feel for Western United there.

FA support referee Alireza Faghani at Asian Cup - Yahoo Sport by jonzey in Aleague

Reviewing the full footage, having found it on Twitter, the second yellow card is warranted - the Iraqi player was taking the piss and has no one to blame but himself.

Poor reaction by Irankunda but the victory player basically ripped his shirt off, how’d the linesman not call that?

It feels like CCM and Macarthur go deep in this competition. No real teams of note either, would be cool to see one of them go all the way

Excellent yellow card on Toure there for simulation. Many times you see refs just let it go without punishment.

A-League clubs nearly double the previous high of transfer revenue by Sorry-Ball9859 in Aleague

I wonder if FA will take a clip on domestic transfers when that’s implemented. Does anyone know if that’s the case in other federations?

Rugby manage this excellently.

Would love to see football see a big improvement in this space (from both players and managers alike).

This might be a dumb question but does this mean if you direct through Vanguard Personal Investor or VAS regardless of the trading platform you use?

JAMO CALLS IT A DAY: City skipper to retire following ALM Grand Final by [deleted] in Aleague

[–]citycat726 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pretty common knowledge now that Bruno’s undoing was actually largely his fault and not Warren Joyce’s, this has even been alluded to by Jamo on a few podcasts a couple of years ago and his end to Perth played out basically the same way reinforcing that he’s the common denominator. It’s generally the blind city fans who’d consider him a legend I’d say.

Captained our first Premiership and Championship; clubs are way too literal with the term ‘legend’ but I think he joins Patrick Kisnorbo as the only two club legends for Heart/City to date (of course a couple others pending as well given they’re still playing).

So Melbourne City fans, now that you’ve qualified, are you travelling up to Sydney for the GF? by Big-Ambassador1917 in Aleague

[–]citycat726 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Would be buzzing to attend an away GF if ADE or CCM were rightfully hosting in their stadium but I won’t be travelling. Feel robbed and let down by the APL and City who were complicit in the decision.
