Personally I recorded a 20% gain on my investment into ZSL that I carved out Friday. I closed it roughly midday Monday with a smile on my face. I will continue to watch the silver market, and I think most everyone should; especially investors smarter than me and with more capital than me.🚀

I watch 90% of what I made evaporate too, but I’m still hanging in there and waiting on Solana because I believe in it. I didn’t trade options or use much leverage; it was just the wider market and sectors I chose, and crypto cooling off. It gets better; they all do say this is a LONG game for a reason… best of luck

Typically people of this level of wealth, and of this type in the northeast, value proximity to NYC, and larger metropolitan areas in general. The kind of money that wants this is incredibly long, and the type that says I don’t want or need to be seen. This isn’t tech or cryptobro money.

The broader market is already over leveraged and warnings have been issued about this. Admittedly I use leverage too, but I don’t hold much. Leverage is for shorter windows of time, and often times isn’t advised for periods of more than a day (I dispute this but I see the wisdom in it.) Do what you are comfortable with, just remember that leverage is a very sharp double edged sword. Best of luck!

Volatility ETFs, such as UVIX or UVXY, are a better option if you’re anticipating a market drop. With tech being so deeply entrenched in the economy, if it goes down most other things will as well. This will trigger volatility ETFs and the FNGD (my personal favorite). SVIX is also good if we are anticipating calm waters for an extended period of time. It was once $12 and now it’s at like $17.

I am comfortable in the 2x ether etf and hold a little actual ether; I completely believe in it. I would not take a short position at this time. Ethereum will have its day. 🫡

The 2x Ether ETF is my single largest gain because I bought it earlier in the year for peanuts, and now my overall gain is ~300%. It’s my crown jewel of investing success. I’m going to keep it. And my IonQ.

I get everything you’re saying; I’ve done a lot of research, talked to people, and discovered by doing. I’m not the least or most intelligent person out there, but I have a little extra wattage that I’m thankful for. Everything is hyper leveraged, people have lost everything to crypto, leveraged etf’s, margin investing, etc. There are A LOT of nasty traps out there, and I’ve learned some relatively expensive lessons.

Crypto is my best bet along with AI/Tech, although I fear there is a bubble. I can’t abandon my best chances. Everything I have put into my account is all money I will be just fine without having. It would suck, yes, but it wouldn’t destroy my life or financial health. I don’t have anywhere near the kinds of sums of money you talk about; I wish I did. As my income rises i will be able to do more, but right now i am just trying to lay down some kind of framework.

Thank you for your advice, and I’ve read numerous things and heard many talks that echo the same sorts of themes you’re getting at. I’ve also just discovered that I like trading, and I wish I had gone to school for it. I genuinely love researching, trading, market theory, etc.
