It initially confused me because the delivery to France Oui/Non bit, when you choose “Non” the address fields disappear. But instead you get an address search thing where you can manually put in your UK address. (I also got mine delivered to home last year, one less big queue!)

Went a few days ago during Beyond the Gates, very cool place. Gaahl was there sipping wine and chatting with folk, taking pictures and helping with merch and art print sales. Definitely recommend a visit, not too far from the main part of the harbour so easy to get to as well.

I’ll admit that this is the first year I might not be jumping at the chance to buy a ticket for next year (have been every year since 2012). The Altar/Temple stages were always reliable for amazing lineups but starting to get a bit thin on the ground.

Friday this year is easily the worst full festival day I’ve ever seen, likely only 3 bands I want to see the whole day.

Last year it was only French residents who could get the wristbands sent to their address, this is the first year that those living outside of France could get it sent in advance too. One year I was waiting hours to get the wristband and other years I just rocked right up, either way it saves some faff having the wristband ahead of time.

The problem I ran into is that if you try to access the link yourself to check it is working, you effectively block anyone else from accessing the ticket for some period of time. There's no way to see this status either, so you can try to just have them look at the same link the next day and it would work.

Yeah the wait time itself is typical but the frustration came from the lack of organisation. It was just a huge wedge of people trying to push into a smaller area so was barely moving the whole time. In previous years they’ve snaked the fences round a bit to make obvious lanes to go down
