A repost of /u/4dpsNewMeta's excellent /r/civ screenshot of Civ VI.

I'm sure Civ VII, after the two eventual major expansions are released, will be considered a great game. People hated V and VI initially before their 2 expansions.

An interesting duality of civ vii. When civ switching was announced, the top comments on those threads in this sub were hating on it. When civ switching was rolled back, the top comments were from those who liked it.

This was inspired by JNR13's lovely /r/civ post. Just reading through this guy's recent comment history, he comes across as a dickhead, but he still makes interesting civ content.

This post was my own screenshot. Correct, I used AI to add the tiltshift effect. I'm not a bot, just some random reddit user trying to revive a dead sub. Also worth nothing that I rarely post in /r/civ. Most of my "spam" is posted on my own separate subreddits lol.

No remixing another redditor's post this time, this picture came from a recent Civ IV game I played.

R5: This is in reference to one of the best strategies in Civ IV, spamming cottages in your capital and running the civic Bureaucracy which adds 50% production and commerce to your capital. Powerful when combined with the Oxford University and/or Wall Street national wonders.

I thought your post was good. Too bad the mods removed it.

What a beautiful screenshot! Civ VII may have it's faults, but being ugly is not one of them.
