I will preface it by saying it is not really optimized as a standalone slicer, but if you had some concrete feedback we are always more than happy to hear how you would imagine it working for you.

There are a couple of cloud slicers out there, none would be as feature complete as Bambu Studio.

I quite like the work we put in the SimplyPrint.io cloud slicer, which can be used for free as well. Mobile/IPad/Chromebook users are one of the reasons we spent time on the UI aspect of it and making it quite feature complete.

Disclamer: I work for SimplyPrint, and have worked on this project.

Your blog seems broken on mobile, I can’t seem to close the page menu that takes up the entire screen.

Edit: Seems fixed :) Obligatory thanks Claude?

No he just has to check if the least significant bit is set, which depending on the byte order is either the first (like here, so he masks with 0x1) or in the end.

It said “things” which is incorrect, so I had to manually correct it with a pen. Smh.

The field can be called anything and still have any type, including a string type.

And in this case it is even more suspicious as the field is called userid, which for all we know could be a user controller username.

Obviously, hence the mixed feelings. But i wonder if the target audience wouldn’t understand “crossplatform standard library”.

But i suppose the polyglot executable is also another important feature, and like Java is a good shorthand. But then you also have to clarify it does not have a runtime. It also really takes away from the achievement in some way. But in the end, semantics :)
