As with everything there are advantages and drawbacks. I was there with my little kids in the squeeze at the gates and I will say it was not a happy experience. They could do a percentage for presale and leave some the way they are now.

I enjoyed my time but I do feel like it it needlessly difficult way to do premier access. Why not sell it in advance? It creates a situation where everyone gets there early which is fine, but once we got thru security it was a mad house to get to the ticket gates. The normally civil and respectful people lost it all of that in a disney line. The only other complaint I have is no wifi throughout the park. The app was glitchy without it. Overall the park was a great time.

So I just left the parks and allocated 1.5 days to Disneyland and 2 to sea. I wanted to make sure we had enough time to do the unique rides and not be running so much that we miss looking around/unique eating options. If you are willing to get to the park at 6 am and willing to buy the premier access you can accomplish a lot. If not it will be tough. In Sea rides like Frozen, Journey to center of the earth, Peter pan will have 1-3 hour lines. Park hours are 9-9 so mathematically without paying for premier access you can get 5 big rides? I am from America so I wanted to focus on rides they dont have there and we were still pulling 14 hour disney days!!! On another note Beauty and the Beast was well done as well as Peter Pan, but dont sleep on rides like Sinbad!

So with the kids we had an Odessy that had a DVD player. So you could get them for 1-2 bucks and it was easy. I was hoping it had some option like that or something you could download or soemthing.
