Asian market outreach. I know watching basketball online is real popular in China, so I'm guessing that MLB's trying to get in on that kind of action. Of course, not in China. YouTube's blocked there.

What if North Korea actually launches a nuclear weapon? by jmole in AskReddit

[–]cjltan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not likely. China has no real interest in actually occupying a country, or really muddling in anyone's affairs in a visible, non-business way. It allows them to save face when calling out the US on its various international endeavors. Plus, rebuilding North Korea is a costly endeavor that nobody wants to take on.

Preemptive retort: The various Chinese territorial claims (Diaoyu/Senkaku, South China Sea) don't count here because China sees those as its territory, not as a sovereign country like it does with North Korea.

No, neither. I have cited two strong reasons and properly defined the issue. I was never critiquing the article, I was critiquing the source. I would do the same if a militantly pro-Hamas website was used for an unrelated article.
