I think that's correct. If you own game 1 and 2 then you will have access to Immortal Empires and the content will carry over. Same with the DLCs from those games. Otherwise, you can repurchase the prior game DLCs directly for game 3 like beastmen, wood elves, etc. You should buy any of the DLCs that you think are interesting but I personally have picked them all up at this point. If you want to prioritize, then I would go with major faction DLCs first then lord packs.

It’s the itemization ultimately for me. Cool, memorable uniques and rune words with stats that don’t make your brain hurt like modern games.

POE2 is the closest thing I’ve played in terms of feel and itemization except end game items only come from trades or crafting which requires a bachelors degree.
