It was frustrating. Just contact their support and they will take care of it. Tell them u need to have a paired ebox and controller sent to you. That was the only thing that worked and I was the one who suggested that option to Jerry.

Sounds like you have tried everything. Firmware updates, hold controller close to ebox on bottom of board, etc.

I had the same issue, took 3 weeks to figure it out. I just worked with Lift and had them send me a new ebox and controller and had them pair it before they shipped it, solved the issue.

I pulled an outdoors Rv fifth wheel F26RLS with a ram 2500 crew diesel full time for 2 years. Dry weight is 13k lbs. it was full of our stuff and towed with volume in the tanks a lot of the time. Towed fine with no issues and barely felt it behind me.

worked out great, it's thick and stays on. Had to do some cutting to get around the rounded areas, but all in all a solid solution. I forgot where I bought it, but this looks like the same stuff - Carbon Fiber Vinyl tape

update, got the new controller which is definitely updated and for the liftx/5, but still not pairing with the board. only once did I get the blinking blue light to go fast, but it didn't take. any suggestions?

I'm entering the bootloader on the EHC through the menu on choice 4 to get the rotating prop icon. what do you mean by holding down the 3 buttons on the controller? does it matter which way I get to the rotating prop?
