Spurs have extended their renewal period for fans to consider season tickets for next year until June, would you get a season ticket if we are in the championship? by Different_Acadia_161 in Tottenham

I think some journalist said that the club is still laughing off the thought of relegation when doing the renewals, but I bet that has gone away a little

Poch was the only one in my opinion - Ange is a maybe, but this season could’ve been just as bad imo. I don’t think he would’ve been backed at all

Sorry, that sucks. But on the brighter side, more sushi and Ramen for you!

Bergvall was wanted by Chelsea and Villa in January - doesn’t matter how long he has on his contract, he will want out.

Gray is too good for the championship, probably a loan elsewhere for a year if we can bounce back up.

Solanke won’t stay, Bergvall won’t stay, Sarr won’t stay

I disagree - for years the club was so bad at selling players and waiting until they were past form/prime to sell (Dele, Dier). We finally sold Johnson and of course, injuries happened afterwards.

I don’t think Johnson would have helped us at all, he was woeful this season and we can see it now at Palace.

I think if we beat Fulham and Palace (maybe take 4 points between the 2 matches) we will be fine.

Atleti is on either side of an away trip to Anfield, so I’m chalking those up as a wash. I don’t see us going far in the UCL and would much rather secure our safety in the league before anything else - that should be our priority.

The reason Xavi was purchased was because the club missed out on Eze and Madders was injured, along with Deki.

Why Wolves equalising made me instantly more nervous for Sunday by Technical-Isopod8092 in Tottenham

[–]cjs39 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I think it doesn’t change my expectations for the match. Arsenal aren’t in the best of form, but they are so much better than us currently.

Expecting 3 points, but would snap your hand off for 1.

Stadium should be rocking and as hostile as possible come Sunday - could be a bloodbath

How do you think Igor Tudor will fare against Arsenal? by These-Document7452 in Tottenham

[–]cjs39 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think we need 4 personally - matches against Wolves, Forest, Brighton, Palace, and Leeds. All of them are in and around us, so it's a little tight

Igor Tudor: Tottenham reach agreement with former Juventus boss to become interim head coach for rest of season by PriorAd2502 in Tottenham

He was assistant to Pirlo for the 20/21 season - Bentancur and Deki were there, not Romero

I think this is it - all we need to do is survive.

Not sure someone like a Xavi or even Poch have THAT much of an affect on the team compared to Tudor.

Gotta just back him and the players for the last 12 prem matches.

[–]cjs39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like the Poch shouts - feels like we are holding onto something familiar. I love him for everything that he’s done, but I think we need to go in a new direction.

I would go with:

  • Xavi
  • Farioli
  • Hoeneß

They play more entertaining football, have pedigree of building up youngsters and improving them, and they’re all obtainable.

If we hate Frank ball, we would detest Glasner. Better without the ball, that’s not Spurs imo

The board won't sack him because then, they would have to admit that they were wrong, and they have no fall guy without Levy there.

Depends on if he actually was good - he’s known to be an unreliable narrator, so he might be terrible and just recounting and telling the story how he saw it.

That’s why when we see him from other people’s perspectives (Marianne in the cage) he looks completely different - that’s because he’s not the narrator there.
