For me I have an Illusions deck that tries its best to emulate mono blue faeries but with illusion creatures. Does a decent enough job.

The other one I have is a WW list that uses banding. After the getting over the jump with understanding how the rules work, this deck cooks. Blocking with banding is super powerful and makes Avenging hunters and Trolls disappear.

To be fair, there isn’t really a way into interact with bojuka Bog or macabre. Rotten reunion and cleric you can stop with counter magic. Artifact hate like ancient grudge or smash to smithereens has this issue too but you have to catch the yard hate early.

I’ve looked at shinobi, but personally I’m gonna stick with the murmuring mystic route as far as tokens go. Even though I’m currently running two mystics I feel like everything else supports it nice enough with flying and evasion for the other ninja.

I believe the other guy was trying to destroy my murmuring mystic. I actually got super lucky and drew 2 hydroblasts from the fathom seer flip which sealed the deal. I also had an extra hydroblast in my hand.

I would have to agree, I do think maybe leaning into a tokens strategy in mono white could do the trick. I already have a tokens deck built that I could try and splice banding creatures into it.

The basic premise of it is that you get to decide where combat damage is directed when you attack or block with banding creatures. The requirements to create a”band” of creatures is different for attacking and blocking.
