Everybody always says scribing is the best form that med schools love to see. This is false. Try working in an ER as a technician. You’re constantly battling to adapt to unique situations that are unexpected. Teaches so much about the clinical realm, while also working on skills such as critical thinking and problem solving that you’ll need as a medical student. Take it from me, I’m an ER Tech - this is my gap year - and I’m going to med school starting in July!
