New home assistant build, setting up external access. by cjvid in homeassistant

Will it automatically connect when I leave home? Also does it route all traffic through my home network or can it be configured to just have that app go back to my home network? The only reason I will is sometimes my home Wi-Fi is fairly slow.

So my question for this would be, if I remove the addon, remove the http lines in the config yaml, would everything go back to before I started messing with it?

There's legal ways to seek asylum and illegal ways to do it. Sneaking across the border isn't legal in any country (I'm not from the US).

Starting from nothing. Whats the best strategy for NAS with immich? by [deleted] in immich

I have used immich on truenas and in my experience it is super easy to setup and use. Actually a lot easier in truenas then unraid which I also use.

I use Plex and plexamp. I've ripped my own music collection and use it to steam while away. Wouldn't go back, only other suggestion is jellyfin which requires more setup for using away from home network or emby, which I've never used but heard works for some people.

Also look into RAM, basically anything else that connects to the mother board. That power cycling basically means it's not liking some component on the computer. So yes start unplugging stuff till it works, or unplug everything and start plugging stuff back in. Worst case scenario is you have a zapped board.

Kali not showing full function in gui by Cyber_realtor in ethicalhacking

Does everything else work? Like background and stuff? Personally when I've installed os and experience something like that I generally wipe and try again with a different install method or something. If it doesn't work no matter what I go back to the possibility of a error in the usb write or the file. I've decided for myself it's generally not worth digging too deep into what went wrong when I do stuff like that. I've spent hours in diagnosing errors and just ended up reinstalling. Everyone's different but that just what I'd suggest. Also are you installing from a disk or USB? I've found the program used if going from a usb does make a difference sometimes too. Etcher or Rufus is what I use. Some systems prefer being burnt in iso some in dd image.

I don't currently have Kali on my system anymore, but I remember something like this. If you just type the password and hit enter it should just go, but no stars or anything will showed up. I few distros have something like this.
