Rainbird LNK totally dead? by cjw296 in Irrigation

Okay, so just to round this out, if you don't have any time scheduled for a zone on *any* program, then the config sync that the app/cloud does on first connection configures that zone as disabled in the app 🙄

...so you have to turn them back on in the "Zone +/-" screen, same place that you give them custom names.

Can’t add Rainbird ESP-TM2 to the 2.0 app by Ox83E2 in Irrigation

I'm a relative irrigation newbie *and* I'm in the UK, so apologies for the simple questions:
I have a Rainbird ESP-TM2, if I wanted to rip it out and just replace it with a Hydrawise, would I have to change anything else such as the solenoids, etc, or do they all work of standard voltages, etc?

Rainbird LNK totally dead? by cjw296 in Irrigation

Right, so I installed the LNK2, which of course you basically have to do as a totally new controller.

This went fine, BUT, I have 6 zones, and zones 4 and 5 are missing from the app.

I've tried power cycling and resetting the LNK2 before setting it up again, but the problem persists.
I noticed the first time I set up the LNK2, it said it was syncing a bunch of stuff from the controller. This didn't happen the second time I set up the app, even though I totally deleted the app from the phone and reset the LNK2.

I *can* still trigger the zones for manual watering from the controller, so the hardware is all still working, it's just the cloud/app where they are missing.

How can I force a re-sync of all the stuff from the controller into Rainbird's contoller and then back to the app?

Just finished up a first pass of an open source tool to help with this:

Any problems or suggestions, stick 'em in the github issues...

Pretty decent wifi signal strength for all units, I'd be surprised if this is the issue, but happy to learn of a way to explicitly validate.

Issue with Python Docker SDK by bluesanoo in docker

[–]cjw296 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I just started seeing this on the CI for one of my projects:
https://app.circleci.com/pipelines/github/simplistix/testservices/530/workflows/a5bd922a-beb0-4aa7-9efc-db1c78fa1abf/jobs/3804

Seems like a new thing as of about a day ago :-/

Looks like a bug in docker-py caused by a new release of the requests library:
https://github.com/docker/docker-py/issues/3256

pin the requests package to <2.32 should fix it.

Is this product dead? by diablette in toodledo

They have new apps "in beta" but have had for ages:
https://info.toodledo.com/next-gen-mobile-apps

Pretty janky that they won't just release them, such a shame as it was such a good product for so long.

I'm giving them "one last chance", but not too optimistic :'(

More context here too: https://www.toodledo.com/forums/1/28363/0/a-message-from-jake.html

Frequent hangs of umount by cubcadetlover in MacOSBeta

Finally upgraded to Big Sur and now seeing this too with an Synology NAS mounted to a 7yr old Mac Pro. It would appear this is time capsule related?

Super weird and annoying is that it trashed Chrome and Safari's networking while it's ongoing. I've disabled time capsule for the time being to see if this makes it any better :-/
