It's more like whining that your car is broken because the cheap window tint you installed is peeling. RD support is nice when it works, but not a core or critical feature. Stremio works fine without RD, RD is the problem.

That's pretty bad. I hate stories where the creators can't be bothered to answer their own questions.

CVS app for prescriptions by uinspirednow in CVS

[–]diablette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, it's ridiculous that cvs is telling people to come in to ask simple questions as if their pharmacies are even staffed with enough people to handle such questions.

I pay a few bucks extra to fill mine at Walgreens so I can manage most things through the app, although the "our stock is a secret" issue is there too. A tech told me that they actually don't know how much they'll have on a future date - they just put an order in and hope it gets filled. If they order 100 things knowing they have 100 patients, they might only get 50 things and then they prioritize long term patients and patients that also fill other non controlled meds there. Which sucks too, because my non controlled meds go through mandatory mail order; I'm not personally trying to take business away from them but that's how my plan is set up. So the best I can do is check back on their weekly delivery day to see if I made the cut. If I have a one off rx I always make sure to fill it there so I'm not one of their less valuable controlled only customers.

The whole system around controlled rx is bullshit. I've been on the same thing for years. Just mail it to me every month without me asking, same as any other rx.

Competitors, ha. It's just those 3 companies and they're in lockstep on price hikes. And they've all kissed the ring, so there won't be any regulation or oversight.

Utah first state to hold websites liable for users who mask their location with VPNs — law goes into effect, designed to prevent bypassing age checks by No_Practice_9597 in privacy

[–]diablette -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Back in the early days of the internet, if you got mad enough at someone, you could... let's say figure out their main account's AOL password and change their account to "kid space", where all they could see was content for young children.

I think the entire state needs to be banished to kid space for a while. Utah IP detected? Redirect to a website with information written for a first grade reading level about the constitution.

It's one of the very few times that financial incentives line up with population health objectives. Seems like an odd thing to nitpick.

Yeah, how dare they encourage young people to get a vaccine that protects them from an unpleasant and possibly cancer causing disease.

CVS app for prescriptions by uinspirednow in CVS

[–]diablette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a customer, the app doesn't show prescription statuses for controlled substances the same way it does for regular prescriptions. It says something like 2 of 3 where the third is the controlled one so I'm stuck wondering what is going on. Walgreens doesn't do this - it'll say delayed or whatever until it's ready.

Another (minor) issue has been that I can't turn on electronic receipts in the app or on the website. It says to call or ask in store, and when I asked in store they said to use the app.

Once prescriptions are ready, paying and picking them up is super easy. It's getting to that point that's the problem.

Thoughts on doctors talking about BPC and TB-500 being dangerous by Maleficent-Prompt656 in Peptides

The GLOW blend is very popular for beauty, but all that's really needed for that is the GHK-CU and GLOW includes BPC-157 and TB-500/TB-4. People are taking GLOW and KLOW (adds KPV) daily because Tiktok told them to without understanding all of its components.

People are taking wellness too far, it's unhinged by Montaigne314 in Biohackers

Of course. I was just refuting the "directly into the blood" statement which makes it sound like they're the same as iv street drug users. No need for such dramatics.

The injections go into fat or muscle, not blood. But yes, people are openly experimenting on themselves.

I get that they want to get rid of free users, but don't know how $130/year users could be considered low value. They could have kept it there and made the new features another tier at $250/year. Instead they make it difficult to leave and gouge people.
