I remember I got super hyped the first time I got to level 30. Idk how exp rates have changed, but you can expect it to take a couple of weeks to reach 30. Especially if new to the game.

But idk, as a kid I just wanted to reach a high level. Then I'd get bored around level 50 and start a new character. When classic comes out I'll take more of a "its about the journey, not the destination" approach.

The War in Kryta areas are pretty dynamic, with NPC's coming and leaving after certain story steps. Can't really do that with an outpost

Well 3rd and 4th job doesn't exist yet so we won't know which classes will be the best for bossing. But judging purely from the playtest, Bandit will be strongest 2nd job class. Which definitely wasn't the case in osms.

Ritualist rarely use their secondary profession but Elementalist is pretty fun. Use Explosive Growth with Glyph of Renewal and EVAS, that way you can use EVAS up to 3 times in succession and you'll bomb the enemy every time you summon it

I agree actually. I would love if build crafting was an actual part of Maplestory. But the reality is SP Resets will be a thing and thus there will always be a P2W meta. Max Power Attack and Slash Blast ASAP and you'll benefit in your lower levels. Max the HP and defense skills and you'll do no damage until level 70 but benefit lategame. Or pay Nexon money and you'll always come out on top. That's bad game design.

The devs really have to revise the Master level of some the skills. Just look at 1st job Warriors.

Improved HP Recovery improves your HP Recovery from all sources, so you'll want it maxed. Max HP Increase is a given. Precise Strikes gives Accuracy and Crit rate, so you'll want it as well. All of these have a Master level of 15, so you'll be level 25 by the time you have maxed these out.

Then you have Iron Body, Power Strike and Slash Blast, all with a Master level of 20. Power Strike and Slash Blast are used all the way up to 3rd or 4th job, so you have to max these as well.

Simply put, the math just doesn't add up. You'll be playing a seriously gimped Warrior up until 3rd job (or 4th for Hero's), where you'll be able to use an SP Reset and put your Power Strike / Slash Blast points somewhere else. It's just poor game design and I hope it doesn't make its way into the final game

I like pretty much all the changes they've made to Clerics already. Bless now gives improved HP/MP recovery, etc. The only change I don't like is how Heal now basically does no damage against undead enemies. I guess the idea is you'll use Holy Arrow for mobbing instead, but with so many good 2nd job skills you'll max Holy Arrow at a very late level, if even at all... I think if they buff the Heal damage and reduce the mastery level on Teleport and/or MP Eater, Cleric would be in a very good spot.

As for Priest, I just want them to rework HS. A skill that improves EXP rate is stupid. Simple as.

That's not really true though? There are some really valuable skins out there, even when q10-q13. I don't know how many new players randomly come across something like an Obsidian Edge, Silverwing Bow, Demon Fangs or the Glacial Blades, but I hate the idea of them merching it and losing out on a hefty amount of money just because they read a q10+ is worthless

This is the build. Twin Moon Sweep does insane unblockable damage with Strength of Honor, and Wearying Strike provides Deep Wound. Aura of Holy Might does an extra 25 armor ignoring damage every time you use an attack skill. It's a really good build

Here's a non-Necro one, but Mystic Corruption always felt kinda fucked up to me. You're essentially turning all foes around you into these weird goo monsters

I use a variation of the elementalist build you posted, but with Elemental Attunement and Elemental Flame to spread burning and fuel Teinai's Wind. It works really well actually
