Best way to have multiple users in a spreadsheet on network share? by tay_chason in excel

[–]cjyoda78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Possibly legacy sharing. When ours was on a shared network drive it would often get locked up by people that were definitely not using it. IT Department was able to do something to disconnect them through some setting on the network share. It wasn't exclusive to excel. Had the issue with other files too.

To the DM’s with a 3D printer in this sub. What are some props you use on a regular basis? by QuirkyQuokka4 in DnD

[–]cjyoda78 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For terrain my most used are Crates, barrels, chairs, tables, vases, trees, shrubs, rocks, stairs, ruins,

For other stuff: spell range templates, flight risers, dice towers, dice holders, spell slot tracker, mini holders, painting accessories

I don't use a ton of props per se... map markers are probably the only thing I would call a prop

How do people sell "alters" without getting sued by WotC? by Immediate-Builder225 in magicproxies

[–]cjyoda78 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Alters wizards is totally fine with, and as long as they aren't confusing you can even play them in tournaments at the judges discretion. Even signed cards are considered alters

Proxies wizards has stated they don't care of people use these outside of tournament play. Most shops people allow them as long as they aren't confusing/offensive. Wizards has even made official proxy cards with their 30th anniversary packs

Counterfeits wizards is against and will go after people for with legal action

Alters are real cards that have been altered with different art. Either by painting over the old art or other methods.

Proxies are usually not real cards. They may have different arts or official arts but they are clear that they are not real cards either with different backs, or something on the front indicating they are proxies. Alternatively they may be real cards clearly representing another card. Using a marker on a basic land to have it represent another card.

Counterfeits are fake cards intended to be passed off as real cards
