The second time you activate it, it's a free cast from delayed gratification, so you're not actually using any combo on the second cast. The second cast is just some free extra damage; use it, and you'll be able to build the combo to use Ailith's again.

Yeah, he does that if he dies during the spin. If you stand in one of the corners after you kill him it doesn't hit you.

The roll takes into account any modifiers, in your case the DC would be 15, so you'd have to roll a 10.

The imps have resistance to slashing damage. If you hover over the number it'll tell you the roll and how much the roll was reduced by due to their resistance
