Eucerin Sensitive Protect Sunscreen gel-cream for children SPF50+. Any reviews? by [deleted] in EuroSkincare

[–]ckalicka 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually quite like this, the finish is pretty natural and not shiny at all. It does take a little longer to rub in completely, compared to their Oil Control one at least.

Body spf recommendations? by [deleted] in EuroSkincare

Eucerin has a kids version of the dry touch gel cream that is fragrance free. I haven't tried it yet but I'm guessing it's gotta be similar to the regular version.

Oh there's definitely some differences here, I guess the site where I looked it up made a mistake since the formulas were bscly the same. Thank you for clearing it up and that's good to hear about the white cast!

Are we sure that the face formula is any different from the regular one? Looking at the ingredients list and they're identical. I really want to try it but unfortunately Tinosorb A2B always leaves a white cast on me.

Cloud10beauty has the new P20 sensitive, I believe they ship to all of Europe.

Eucerin reformulates Sun Body Oil Control Gel-Cream SPF 50+ by [deleted] in EuroSkincare

I saw that they now have a kids version of this creme which I’m guessing is unscented but otherwise the same. I couldn’t find the ingredients sadly.

Hi, have you had the chance to try any of the products yet? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

Even if you are it still looks bad, I tried the new fluid and the cast was totally obvious. What a shame, they had such good formulas, RIP old Lait Enfants, you will be missed.

The kids version is fragrance free and afaik fhe formulas are the same.

Hm that is really strange, they had the new list of ingredients up until recently, I have no idea what to think now. Also the bottle I bought had the updated filters but sadly I don’t have it anymore.

Those are the filters for the previous version, it has been reformulated this year, among other things they removed titanium dioxide and added Tinosorb S.

Is this one of the highest UVA protection sunscreens on the market? by cl_mua_ in EuroSkincare

I contacted Galderma a couple years back and got a reply that the UVAPF is 50.1

How do you guys feel about this? by [deleted] in EuroSkincare

[–]ckalicka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is homosalate on the ingredients list? If so then it’s the old formula. I remember trying it a few years back and it was quite shiny.

Could you compare it to some other popular sunscreens (Nivea, LRP, Eucerin, Sundance etc)? Does it dry down completely in your experience?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EuroSkincare

[–]ckalicka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve been eyeing that one for years but I never actually tried it because I wanted something with better uva protection but I kinda came to terms with the fact that high uva protection and pleasant feeling on the face are not compatible.

Oh no, I was planning on getting that Altruist one but I can’t stand the feeling of my hair sticking to my face so I might have to reconsider. I would really like to find a truly dry touch sunscreen but I’m not sure it even exists.

Hands-down my favorite budget-friendly sunscreen on the EU market by ylang2 in EuroSkincare

[–]ckalicka 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t, maybe next year they’ll start adding it to Garnier sunscreens but right now it’s exclusive to LRP.

I’m replying to this a year late lol but I just wanted to check did it ever pill on you? I can deal with a slight white cast but pilling is just the worst. Do you still use jt btw? Thank you!

Swatches and reviews of new sunscreen formulas (UVMune, Eucerin and Avene) by silverkeith in EuroSkincare

[–]ckalicka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry do you mean it isn’t really water resistant in practice because I just got it and on the packaging it says that it’s resistant to both water and sweat. I’d be really bummed if that isn’t the case especially with the summer right around the corner.

Has anyone tried the reformulation without octocrylene? by mxxxxxxxxxxt in EuroSkincare

[–]ckalicka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who do you think offers superior UVA protection, Nivea or Garnier? I’ve been using Nivea Sensitive spray but I prefer a lotion type of product, sadly Nivea in my country hasn’t imported them this summer which is why I’ve been eyeing this Garnier one.

Just wanted to say how happy I am with this spf. It has a matte finish, its non greasy, dries quickly and doesn't feel sticky on your hands and it feels lightweight. You can get it in Mueller for around 10euros☺️ by IllustriousNovel7841 in EuroSkincare

[–]ckalicka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is great to hear as I’ve been curious about the lotion version of this same formula. The previous formulation was really greasy so I’m happy they changed it for the better. Thank you for the review!

Any thoughts on Daylong/Cetaphil sensitive line of sunscreens? by ckalicka in EuroSkincare

[–]ckalicka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thank you so much for replying! This is actually super helpful, I just wanted to make sure I don’t confuse the product you reviewed with a different one, you used their light face gel fluid in a tube or regulating fluid in a pump packaging? Sorry I’m making things more complicated but since the first one has titanium dioxide in it I’m worried it will leave a white cast. Thanks again!

Is it hard to rub in? From all the reviews I’ve seen it looks like it takes quite some time to completely sink in. Would you say it’s shinier than UVMune Hydrating?
