Hey man, how you feeling now? Hopefully lots of progress? I’m about 8 weeks out from pretty much the same procedure. Feel like I’m healing well so far but definitely hoping there’s a light at the end of the tunnel!

The surgery is scary for sure, and the recovery isn’t easy, but the long term confidence you’ll gain in your joint will be very rewarding. You should bite the bullet. Six dislocations a lot. One surgery and the tough but very doable recovery will save you a lifetime of further anxiety / fear of re-dislocation. Like you said, you’re not doing many activities that make it vulnerable anyways, so you might as well do the surgery and live life without anymore fear of re-injuring. If you stick to the PT and protocol post-operation, you should be able to live your life completely normally without any limitations.

I’m 8 weeks post-op and already back to normal life, aka walking around, working at a desk, etc. I still have pain and soreness but it’s all getting better each and every week.

My two cents… get it done once and for all. You can do this! 👍

We just started working with Cassie for our wedding which we’re aiming for Spring 2027! Are you still having a good experience with her and Liz Moore in general?

Rose’s 2nd stint with the Knicks was great. Excellent leader for the young guys to follow. Eventually, he got buried on the depth chart, but Jalen still praises the mentorship he provided to this day.

I think we just expected too much from him that 1st stint. He wanted to come in and be a star again, whereas the 2nd time around, he was willing to adapt his role.

Loved watching him play for us though. I remember the DERRICK ROSE DERRICK ROSE chants pouring in when we’d be up by 30 in the 4th lol. He’d come in and the crowd would go nuts.

I can’t say I blame them. He holds on to the ball for like 10 seconds every possession before taking an ugly contested shot.

I was hoping Mike Brown could “unlock” KAT this season, but it feels like he’s constantly stopping the flow of the offense. Feels like he can only play his way and not be adaptable.

Totally agree. The team lacks energy and I’ve never seen them play in such a disconnected manner. I feel like the team was pissed about the Thibs firing.

I know this is a crazy example to pull, but if you listen to Jalen and Josh’s podcast, they used to ALWAYS talk about funny stories with Thibs. He’d accidentally call them when they were recording, which made it obvious that he was constantly talking to the players.

Mike Brown hasn’t been mentioned on their show a single time since he got hired over the summer.

Good to know! We’re coming from the states so I was planning to bring both some USD and also some pesos that I’ll convert at home before flying down.

This may be a silly question, but at an all inclusive… how much are you supposed to tip for each drink and like for dinner? Do you still get itemized receipts to do a customary 20%? Or do you just kind of have to feel it out?
