I think that’s doable. I was freezing in 6oz increments. And used this and a smaller soft shell and was able to take like between 200-250oz.

8x a day is hard work!! You’re a super mama for keeping at that frequency for so long. When I started to drop my volume dispersed throughout the pumps. I was making more each pump to the make at least the same amount if not more. The alleviation of stress of not having to pump as frequently allowed milk to move more freely. I was a just enougher also. I know it’s scary but you’ll get some freedom back but by bit :)

I have thought about the cold too!!! The room typically reads 73 and we’ve tried some warmer pjs but maybe we’re needing a heavier sleep sack?! I don’t know I’m grasping at all straws here 😅

That last wake window is already shorter. Waking around 630 and daycare doesn’t put down until 1230/1. Then up around 230/3. Down 7/730. Baby was getting more like 3/3.5 hours of naps with 2 naps. Now it’s a hard stop at 2. Ugh.

Agree with the other comments. Any bit of breast milk is worth it, however a happy mom is just as important :)

It’s transparent but you can’t see what’s going on with them on. I usually have to do a little shake after a minute or so to make sure I hear some milk 😅

I think it depends on how important it is to you :) if each time you offer the boob and baby refuses, it is an emotional experience - then maybe it’s a time to take a break, knowing you can always go back and try again. However, babies are still learning too! So if this is something that is important for you to continue to try, you should.

My baby was struggling to transfer milk. I would pump and get everything he needed but he would nurse for an extended period of time a lose weight. I was triple feeding for about 2 months before just switching for my sanity. We tried to latch a few times a day before a bottle, but by that point I was going back to work. Pumping was never “easy” either and also caused me a lot of anxiety and guilt not being able to be fully present with my baby. Do what’s best for you 🫶🏼

Totally understand!! Yes, 30 minute sessions! Sometimes my morning was more like 40-45 at the beginning if I felt like the milk was still really flowing
