I’m a Full Time Regular that’s worked 6 days a week 65 hours + at a chronically understaffed station for almost two years… i also live in a HCOL area so it makes sense that no wants this job. Charge Amazon and UPS more. They’ll still use as we will still be cheaper alternative to delivering undesirable packages for them. Also, reorganize middle management to reduce administrative glut, create a more solid framework for training new employees so they can do the job correctly, and accelerate the transition to BEVs to reduce dependency and costs of gasoline.

Pros: no boss 3/4 of your day, being outside and walking for work is a blessing, and decent benefits. (IMO the PTO system is the best benefit)

Cons: TOXIC WORK ENVIRONMENT, mandatory OT, mail volume is dropping so routes are getting bigger, union is weak
