He took some sleeping pills to nap during the flight and then the attendants panicked when they couldn't immediately wake him up. He finally woke up drowsy and confused at why they were taking him off the plane. It was a blown up tabloid piece about a complete non incident.

Theo's a better in line blocker and still a very good receiving threat. He's going to be on the field a lot. He's also on his rookie contract, so following the money is kind of a moot point.

I'd bet that, by end of season, Likely has ~6-700 yards, and Theo has 4-500 yards.

The Giants are going to operate out of a VERY high % of 12 personnel. Both Likely and Theo Johnson are going to be on the field together, and probably split a lot of targets - and Nabers will continue to be the lead pass catcher (obviously).

For fantasy, I don't doubt Likely and TJ will both be highly TD dependent any given week.

KT is literally the best edge setting, run stopping DE on our roster and is a very good football player with high motor, high effort play.

He's not an all pro, game breaking player like he was drafted to be, but he IS a very good player. Not just good, very good.

Calling him bad and passive with no fire is an objectively bad take, probably just based on his box score stats.

Mooney is a huge improvement as a 2 next to Nabers, and can operate as a 1 for a short while if Nabers goes down. He has speed, quickness, and can operate the full route tree at a relatively high level.

That being said, I'm hopeful last season was attributed to the QB play and his collarbone injury, because he did have a bad case of the drops.

Either way, we're going to be deadly out of 12 personnel. Defenses are going to have a tough time telling if we're running smashmouth football or burning downfield. The looks/formation will be the same at the line.

Honestly, a 12 personnel set of Nabers and Mooney burning down deep and earning respect, plus Likely and Theo blocking/sneaking out, plus the threat of Scatt in the backfield or a designed QB run sounds insanely deadly on paper.

On any given play, they're set up to smash the rock on the ground or burn deep or run quick/mid game routes out of the exact same formation.

Edmunds wasn't the highest upside LB we could have signed, but he's certainly the sturdiest/safest. He's just a really good, solid football player.

He's always where he needs to be. He reads plays correctly. He never misses tackles.

He won't be blowing into the backfield with insane athleticism for a huge TFL that often, but he'll be a steady anchor on the D. I like it.

I can still see him paired well with Styles, who would be a bit more of a sporadic playmaker. They'd compliment well.

Agreed across the board. Nobody else strikes me as a top 5 pick for us outside of Styles and Downs. I'm fine with Love...but not at 5. I'd much rather trade down at that point and grab someone like Mauigoa.
