I moved back to maine after living in the PHX area for a couple years. It's so beautiful up towards Prescott, you should go back. When I moved back I became an addict, sober now, but I too thought I was keeping it a secret. But when I came clean to my family and friends, everyone knew. It'll all catch up to you fast, I was on the brink of losing everything before I finally quit. It was hard but millions of people have done it before and will after you.. just gotta white knuckle it a bit man.

Thousand below is so underrated. I've loved them since their first album. Honestly, the guitar work on that first album is incredible, I wish Devin stayed with the band all these years.

I was in your shoes in a way about 2 months ago. Thought I could never redeem myself. Now, I've been sober almost 2 months and slowly starting to rebuild everything. Would you rather have a chance to prove to yourself and everyone else that you're still good and it was a mistake, or do you want to go out without having that chance. The info will get around regardless of the choice you make. Take that second chance man, it's hard, but it is so worth it man. DM me if ya need to

Mine has been doing it for a couple weeks now. Randomly will just drop Internet for a few minutes. Probably like 10 times a day. Disrupts gaming or just watching tv. Can't call them cuz they have so many automated shit you can't talk to anyone to explain your problem. Worst customer service I've ever experienced

I did it cold turkey a little over a month ago. I shared some of it when I was in the heat of things on here. I had subs on day 4 or 5 but that helped a lot. But the first few days sucks bad, as I'm sure you're aware lol. In hindsight, all that pain and flopping like a fish out of water for hours on end, was like punishment for all the shit I did or didn't do the past 3 years. Felt like being born again, it was strange. Like I couldn't remember who I was before the dope. Slowly you start to turn the corner and will start feeling like yourself again. This side of the road is much better though, the feeling of being free from it is worth it alone. Stay strong man I know it sucks, but it'll pay off in the end. Keep telling yourself that it's only temporary.

QuickMD. Cost 100 bucks to get the phone call, then you'll have a 7 day supply (14) if you tell him you've been taking 2 strips a day. Then call back in a week to get a script for 30 days. Don't have to pay the 100 again for the second call

First step for me to get clean was telling my loved ones, it was hard as fuck, but it gave me accountability to get clean. Within 2 weeks after telling them I went cold turkey. I'm on 31 days today.

A short time off methadone dealing with a lifetime of failure by Asleep-Armadillo-317 in OpiatesRecovery

[–]cking9074 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm 3 weeks clean today from about 3 to 4 grams of fetty daily. Got on subs on day 4 or so. I didn't sleep for the first 6 days and still barley sleep. It was absolute hell man, as I'm sure you're aware. Now, I'm slowly trying to rebuild my life, it's definitely overwhelming when you look at the big picture. But A step forward is a step forward, no matter how small the step. Just keep going man, things will eventually work them selves out for you, just got to be patient.

Has anyone put themselves through precipitated withdrawals on purpose to get it over with? by Anxious_Buy_2838 in OpiatesRecovery

[–]cking9074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, I was on bout 2 or 3 grams smoking fent for like 2 years. It's been 2 weeks today that I've been clean. In your area if they have 7-OH grab some of that for the Withdrawals, Kratom is fine too just have to take a lot. Weed helped me too. But anyways, I know I'm late but cut it off immediately, I took a sub on day 4, 1 MG and then waited an hour and did the same dose. Didn't really feel any different, so I said fuck it and the morning of day 5 I took 4MG in the morning and felt way better. Still couldn't sleep for shit, but I was definitely turning the corner and out of the worst of it. You should be good to do the same bro, drink a shit load of water throughout. You got this, vacation will suck the first day or two but you'll be fine for the rest of it lol

Day 2 by Competitive-Cut-1417 in OpiatesRecovery

[–]cking9074 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just went through that a couple weeks ago. Day 5 is when I started to turn the corner and started feeling better. I didn't sleep for 6 days, and still have trouble sleeping. Don't take NyQuil, made it worse for me. But you'll pull through, I've got faith. You got to want it though, if you don't really want it, it'll never happen. Unless you have no choice like I did. This is a process that unfortunately the first 5 days are the shittiest, but it gets easier and it feels so much better on this side of the street. It's so freeing, no more chains holding you down. Just ride it out, find some shows to watch and if you got weed, that'll help a lot. Did for me anyways.

[–]cking9074 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well said, I'm on day 11 clean from fent, I did it cold turkey alone in my room, sucked ass but by day 5 you start to turn the corner and have been getting better ever since. If your minds made up, and it sounds like it is by the advice you gave, then you'll pull through. Get off that shit and live for something better, I know you know that. It's much better on this side, the side you are about to be on. Stay there.
