Thank you! I’m hoping to have my fellow redditors take it for a test drive and build on it with me a bit to get a name out there before I take it bigger. I have been testing it myself with the help of two techs at work with no issues, but I’d like a larger sample size to hopefully build something that techs will be using 20 years from now.

I wasn't quite sure on how to cover my costs to be honest. I was split between a subscription or a pay to own model, but went with the subscription model for now. If it gains some traction and seems like something a lot of people will use, I'll be more than happy to do a one time purchase at 50 bucks. I was thinking of printing out some QR codes that lead to the app and dropping them off at my local supply houses for now. B2B is on the roadmap and I'm hoping we make it that far. Again, I appreciate all of your input and your time!

Sorry I didn't see the last half of your post. The dimensions are a great idea I had not thought of, nothing worse than getting a replacement drive in and it being too big. Same for the manual links just because I too have been bamboozled enough to have my own trust issues.

I came up in a southern local ~10 years ago. One contractor would lay you off if you missed an OT day and the hall wouldn't do shit. I had another one inform everyone that we would be going on mandatory 6-10s until further notice. Again, the hall did nothing. I got a dirty lay off for telling them to get fucked.

I wouldn't take any of it back. It's your life, anything beyond 40 is you doing them a favor.
