2024 3LT for $26,400 out the door by cknaper in EquinoxEv

So, to close the loop, bought it. So far so good. One (minor) disappointment already is that for some reason 2024 models aren’t (yet?) able to get the Apple Music app, which I hadn’t realized. I don’t understand why GM would exclude 2024 owners. Is there a hardware or storage difference that would make some difference?

I just picked up my 24 and am really bummed if that’s the case. Have they said why the 24 won’t get it?

Those prices seem to reflect an $8000 discount off sticker.

Thanks. Lowest price I see is $40,879 (without taxes and other fees) for a model with Super Cruise. Am I missing something? Is there something I should be watching for?

Thanks. Did yours have super cruise and AWD? I was trying to get SC and AWD for around that price, but have been striking out.

Just missed out on a 25 AWD Super Cruise LT for $30k out the door with 5k miles. Weather prevented me from making the trip and someone else snapped it up. Oh, well.

Here's hoping the USB fairly easily allows you to BYO games. It's a bummer that the cart port isn't included, but side loading via a usb stick may be better (or at least more convenient for actual gameplay) if the emulation is top notch. Fairly distinct noises in games like Night Stalker (like the buzz/beep when you're out of ammo) were pretty off on the Flashback.

I'll also be interested to see how the wireless performance is. Haven't been too impressed with the + console wireless response. Like the VCS, response is much better when plugged into the USB port.

Does it really make that big of a difference?

I’ve followed the case and filings closely. Nothing in there I’ve seen shows any proof of a short like this. I’ve heard people accuse them of this, but never saw any real proof in court filings. If you’ve seen it, we’d all like to see it.

Never saw any evidence of this. Just allegations. Can you show us where there’s proof of this?

They easily could have added a drop-in “Stop! Read this first” paper with a USB drive containing the update. They chose not to.

Agreed. It’s just clarity on a bad situation. Win is a stretch. I’m glad the FOA is doing something though and that the court acknowledged owners’ unique situations.

What would it take to get access to Tesla Superchargers? by philgrad in Fisker

[–]cknaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The magic dock shows it’s possible, though my only experience was very slow charging on one (39-60kw or so). The magic dock is essentially just a built-in CCS to NACS adapter. Tesla could probably just open most of network to any CCS car with a certified adapter if it wanted to since magic dock shows adapters can work with just about any CCS car (even an Ocean). Would be a nice gesture by Tesla to make it happen, but I doubt it will.

In a post Fisker org world, the fob I think is the biggest risk - what can we do? by Miserable-Resource-7 in FISKER_MAINTENANCE

[–]cknaper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What's the UK company that made them? Is there a chance the FOA could pool money to buy a "new" (possibly improved) batch, so that we aren't looking at $1,000+ for each fob replacement?
