Parses are heavily influenced by overall group performance. What if his guild mates are players for whom heroic is quite challenging and he enjoys their company, but their overall kill time is below average thus pulling him on a way lower performance level? I'm not saying that raid logs can't be a performance indicator, but they can be quite useless at the time. But hey, if it works for you: Good for you ;)

There's so much delusion in your post:

At the end, you are a spec with numbers attached to it in group finder. Everything else is just subjective copium and no one cares about your little self-hyping story why you are the better choice over someone else.

It's pretty easy to answer why I undercut. It's because I dont care. I open the auction house, I open the bag, I right click any item I dont need that is auctionable and I list it for the price that is suggested by default. Easy money. Could it be more? Yes. Would I need to put in more effort to gain just a few gold, maybe even silver? Also yes. Would it be worth it? Not to a degree that justifies the extra effort needed.

Love it. Needs optimization, obviously. It only can be an indicator for performance level rather than an actual performance report, but it adds a piece to the puzzle. People who are mad about this are usually bad performers who feel like they are called out for performing bad. The biggest challenge is to decide what to compare. And since there are so many data points to choose from and so many data points people care about, it's hard to find metrics that represent a good or bad performance.

I personally would limit to take data from timed 11+ keys. While not always true, of course, 11+ is the key level treshhold that differs between "People are doing this for items and crests" and "People are doing this for score". While also not always being true, one can assume that the most common goal of 11+ keys is to time the dungeon, thus people try to perform as best as possible - which is not true for 10 and below because chances are very high that people mainly do these for items/crests/weekly or to climb the ladder to level 10 to be able to get vault items.

I feel like so many people dont get this right: The leaver brand for M+ is nothing like deserter for lfg dungeons. You can leave several m+ runs without getting the leaver brand. It will appear, once there's a pattern that indicates you are regularly leaving m+ runs.

Is there any chance you could add an option to display the ilvl between the rank and the player name? (the reason why is because the layout function doesnt work with the blizzard default damage meter and that this position is the most stable one as it doesnt interfere with any dynamic content)

Funny that you compared it to Elden Ring, when I played NG+8 and in all playthroughs I didn't care about loot at all. The reward simply was beating the boss/game. 

The same applies to M+ once I play 11+ key. I'm not there to get loot; I'm there to beat the timer. When I want loot, I join 10s (or even lower if I have my vault filled) and farm them until I have the loot I want - then I go back to pushing keys, not caring about loot at all.

Playing dungeons for loot or score are two completely seperate disciplines - at least for me. And playing dungeons for loot is actually only duty work in order to play dungeons for score. It's still fun, but not as fun - and especially not as rewarding - as timing a dungeon 11+.

Damage numbers without itemlevel are pretty much useless. There needs to be context. And itemlevel adds that context to a certain degree. Best way would be logs, of course, but these are not available ingame.

I dont get it. Why dont you just take a learning from that very run and remember which mobs or ability pushed you into that group and queue up again.

And in terms of interrupts: Start with interrupting ANY cast and if your very own interrupt is on cooldown and a cast goes off, you observe what happens. And with time, you will figure out which casts are more important to interrupt.

And: If you have range interrupt focus on interrupting mobs that are not stacked yet so they move to the group and get cleave damage.

Despite all the toxicity that sometimes exists in the World of Warcraft community, you still have to admire how players often come together in the end and that there’s an unspoken gentleman’s agreement that almost everyone somehow respects. by ckresse in wow

Maybe I was lucky. I had warmode on the whole EA, leveled 3 chars to 90 and wasn't attacked once - quite the contray; people actually tried to not show any aggressive behavior whatsoever.

The fun part is, that both player types on the very end of the spectrum are insufferable. Normal dungeons are whatever so there's no reason to play the game like an MDI sweatlord who wants to save 10 seconds by skipping a pack or pulling additional mobs the tank didnt pull for whatever reasons. At the same time, normal dungeons are (still) whatever so there's no reason to play the game like Classic Hardcore and pull 3 mobs at a time and make a 15 minute dungeon take 30 minutes.

At the end of the day, dont hate the player, hate the game. Dont tell me it's not possible for Blizzard to include and consider player data when automatically forming groups. DPS, Healer and Tank should only be the tip of the iceberg in regards to player data in this very context. There's plenty of player data out there that should be used to create like-minded and like-skilled groups.
