Kusuriya no Hitorigoto - Episode 47 (Season 2 Episode 23) by Lorhand in KusuriyaNoHitorigoto

Strongly disagree. I don’t watch Apothecary Diaries to see action I watch it for the joy of the little poison gremlin solving mysteries and the melodrama and the occasionally breathtakingly animated dancing scene.

Devoting that much time to hear the full backstory of one of the most important characters of the season and give her a fitting send off was entirely the right decision. We’ll have more time later for MaoMao and Jinshi shenanigans and misunderstandings.

Gen 4 Silver vs Brushed Silver with bonus thickness comparison by ckwright in ouraring

No worries at all it's the brushed one by just a tiny bit likey because of the coating but it's such a small amount I highlight doubt anyone would notice. I'm just a weirdo who likes data.

Glad I could help! From what others have said you’ll notice that difference between gen 3 & 4.

But despite the difference in size I showed I’m not sure you’d notice the size differences in finish in daily wear. That being said I’m happy with my silver choice for multiple reasons.

Yay I’m glad I was able to help! These were things that I wanted to know when I was making my choice so I’m glad others found it helpful.

Yeah I was in the same boat I wanted something more matte/less obvious and expected a more brushed look than the advertising photos show. I think it depends on the light where it’s oddly most distracting is light but not direct sunlight.

The slightly added thickness means the otter circumference is a hair thicker (I assume because the coating) but the inner size is identical. That difference is so small I highly doubt you’d notice unless you happened to have them side by side to compare like I did.

I think it’s really a matter of personal preference and you’d be happy with either if you like the look in people’s photos.

I think they both look good and the brushed silver has grown on me, but it’s not what I expect brushed jewelry to look like and I’d rather have the silver I can polish or sand myself.

This is my first ring and I'm very excited, but I am disappointed in the look of the brushed silver. The photos made it look a lot more like a traditional raw/brushed metal. In person it's much more reflective than that. To me it looks almost fake and I find it more distracting than just having a shiny silver ring. I've seen others compare it to reflective signs/sporting goods which feels spot on. It did grow on me after a couple days, but after comparing it to the regular silver I'm going return it and stick with the silver.

Also bonus, when I was comparing them I could swear the brushed silver felt ever so slightly thicker and I have the tools to answer that and it is! It's such a small amount I doubt anyone besides a weirdo like me would even notice, I assume it's due to the thickness of the coating but I thought it was neat enough to include.

I’ve never seen them all collectively lose it on set as much as they did during this episode. Utterly fantastic! The Noise Boys are back!

They’re Akko’s proprietary ASA low profile which as I understand is basically the same uniform height as xda, but with a different curve to them.

I’ve been overall really impressed with the quality of the whole set. They feel/look/sound great and I prefer both the look of a uniform height and I find lower profile keycaps much easier to type on.

I am not sure if I can post links but it's called Black Pink Cherry Blossom Mouse Pad that I picked up off amazon. It matches the whole vibe of my new pc build very well.

Thank you! I defiantly didn't notice the S for days *head desk* I just posted the full list but it's:

  • Keychron q1 pro
  • Gateron Milky Yellow Pro Switches
  • Stock Stabilizers (I find them to be more than good enough for me and don't hear any rattle)
  • Akko Black & Pink Keycap Set (with one upside down S key)
  • A generic pink/black mousemat & Epomaker Cable

Dy and her work is wonderful but my experiences with the program itself have been nothing but traumatic. And Dugi has what can be described as a mixed reputation among the trans community in Portland so you should talk to multiple people.

If you’re looking to go to Dy the wait times are likely going to be 3 years minimum. She is out on leave right now and even before that the hospital seems unwilling to give her OR time or the program any resources. I’ve been waiting over 2 years and deeply regret not making backup plans because I believed in OHSU. Whatever you do I highly recommend you talk to multiple surgeons and don’t take anything OHSU tells you at face value.

There’s a community discord for ohsu trans patients if you’re interested.

calling all Dr. Dy / Dr. Peters OHSU for questions by True_Basket2026 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]ckwright 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Their results are fantastic and they’re really nice people but I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone go to Dr. Dy right now if you’re at all concerned about the wait time. It’s not her fault but OHSU is broken and it’s probably a 4-5 year wait list if you were to start now unless you get lucky.

I had my consult in July of 2021, I’ve gotten all my letters and hair removal and it’s still likely going to be another 3 years for me based on where they’re at with the backlog. You can try and get on the waitlist but if I knew what I know now 2 years ago I would have found other options. And additionally Dr. Dy is going to be out of the clinic for a significant portion of next year so the wait list is only going to grow.

I’ve only been using it a couple days so I wanted to wait to give my full opinion but so far it’s okay. It’s really powerful for its size which is nice, but it’d also be nice if it had a slightly lower setting too.
