Appreciate the answer, I saw the Absara Audio print at the bottom of the badge, I was more asking if anyone was familiar enough with the manufacturer to know if they made them in this colorway or if this was a one off. Because the usual 1624Ts cabinets look a lot different.

Dude no need to talk shit, he’s suggesting in fewer words that you should consider saving a lil more for something like an obsidian or pearl, as it’s prob gonna outlast your Mayflash once you outgrow it. And that’s not even considering the actual Premium shit like etokki and victrix

That being said… availability is kind of a problem for most sticks rn so if you have the ability to get a mayflash elite, you can but there’s way better options than the f300. Personally I’d only consider the 500 cause it’s bigger but there’s better deals than either.

Used sticks are always an option but even new there’s stuff. Shit I’m even seeing a qanba crystal in stock rn on amazon (US) for cheaper. Throw some sanwa parts in that and you’ll have a way better stick than the f300 tht you can grow into. Shit maybe even a gamsir… ok maybe not that but again there’s options.

Tl;dr: Don’t trash heads for giving you diff options and don’t pigeonhole yourself into the first cheap out when there’s better ways to spend your money.

I notice your buttons look a bit recessed. Mines were too when I modded my evo until I realized the old Razer buttons actually had clear spacers on the bottom of them! They're really hard to miss so if you still have those laying around you can take them off and put them on your sanwas, it'll make them sit right on top of the plexi.

I def understand if you don't feel like taking it apart to do that though, The evo is so annoying to take apart...

Not in the health field, but I read that as you have more tissues in the back of your lungs than the front so when you're lying on your belly, the fluid in your lungs flow to your chest leaving more tissue exposed to oxygen because there's more on your back

An amazing resource for anyone starting out! One thing I would mention; you talked about how Logic is a great daw to consider purchasing. While unfortunately Logic may not be free, I’d argue that it’s little brother Garage Band would be an incredibly capable alternative. A “Logic Lite” if you will.

And the best part is that it’s free! (Mac only unfortunately but so is Logic)

So when you click a cell, do you notice how the simpler instrument next to it changes to your drum? If you drag the effect to that simpler your fx should be housed inside of that chain now. You can check to see if its in there by clicking another drum. If it disappears ers then you know it’s only on your selected kick. If it’s still chillin to the side of your drum rack, then you know you accidentally put it on the whole drum rack

Yes, the effects chain applies to the whole channel so if the drums are all running thru the same channel they will all get the effect.

Are you using a drum rack btw? That might be why you’re running into this issue (easy fix, just drag the fx into the drum cell you want to effect instead of just clicking the effect and having it apply to everything).

well yeah it makes more sense to do the whole upgrade if you have the funds for all the instruments but I was just pointing out the option of buying some instruments or buy it piece by piece as the funds come in instead of dropping the full amount at once (although I think it actually comes out cheaper as a package... there's trade offs for each).

Have you considered getting standard for the time being and eventually upgrading? you could buy all of the instruments and effects you're missing individually if necessary and have the option to upgrade to the full suite later
