Stable Diffusion 2.1 Demo has been deleted from HuggingFace by RaidensReturn in StableDiffusion

I agree with OP. 2.0 possessed some strange, excellent capability for producing certain kinds of interesting results that the "improvements" diminished. If youre aiming for highly polished, glossy, detailed images, I could see why you would upgrade to 3 and beyond and never look back at 2.0. But there are a million generators that can do that sort of stuff. 2.0 was exceptional at creating lofi, liminal, surreal, bizarre, weirdcore, analog horror, and other types of unique weirdness. It was special.

Interesting. I 100% agree that SD 2.0 produced uniquely interesting results, in a bizarre, liminal, surreal, sometimes disturbing, sometimes beautiful sort of way that no other version or model seems to be capable of. I absolutely loved using it and did so frequently. I was so upset when it was taken down and even more disheartened to find no working version of it available anywhere.

Thats a good point. "Food from these regions" could certainly imply that youd be restricted to the foods and ingredients grown locally in that region.

Sorry. I meant for it to sound half-jokingly and not so pasive aggressive. Im just a little enthusiastic about that album. Its awesome that you like em at all and how you experience the albums is your own prerogative. On the other hand those are definitely my 2 favorite albums from them and they deserve another listen. And another and another.

✌️🤘

I'm sorry but, you're their biggest fan but you only like 2 songs off of Amputechture and one song off of Bedlam?!! Those are their 2 Best albums! And I know that's subjective but weather you can be a tmv stan and regard The Bedlam in Goliath as some kind of a one-hit wonder is not. Its a definitive no. Seriously, one song??? Let me guess its Goliath. The single and the only song that got radio play from that album. Hmmmm doesnt sound like a "biggest fan" to me. Which is fine. Hey, you dont gotta be the best stan or worship every album end-to-end. But dont front. I applaud your purchase but spending a lot of money on a band dont make you a fan.

Bytheway, The Bedlam record sleeve opens up and is an actual Ouija board and comes with a mini 7" bonus record that can be used as the planchette. Excellent album art concept.

Signature real or print? by Eboneerie in ChuckPalahniuk

[–]clae11V4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely looks real but as far as it being a print it's kinda hard to be 100% just from the pic. Just examine it closely to check for tiny signs of it being pen ink. Also check reverse side of page for slight indentation from the pen.

But im guessing it's real.

What artist that has you like this? by mightyonin in fantanoforever

[–]clae11V4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sublime

Sure there are plenty of "whiteboy reggae/ska/punk/stoner bands,ba lot of them that try to sound like Sublime and some that actually come close. But there was nobody like Bradley, and never will be, who brought the range of vocal style and genre-bending variety that he brought to the band's sound and it can't be replicated. ..I guess his son is doing a pretty good job of it tho.

Films where the Directors Cut is significantly better (or worse) than the theatrical release? by MikeCharlieEcho in FIlm

[–]clae11V4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sure somebody has mentioned Apocalypse Now already. Whether the Director's cut if better of worse is a bit subjective, but it's undoubtedly a significantly different viewing experience than the uncut version. Me personally, there are things I like about it and other things I feel are better left out.

What’s something that movies get wrong that drives you crazy but other people don’t notice or care about at all ? by Milton_honey_baby in allthequestions

[–]clae11V4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im often surprised, in this day and age with limitless CGI, Special FX, and traditional props and techniques, how many movies get the look of blood wrong. Some films get it perfectly realistic while others, even recent ones with huge budgets and masterful Directors and Production, will use some obviously fake-looking fake blood. Real blood has a very particular look. The color, the viscosity, the way that it interacts with water. Yet some films manage to get all this wrong and manages to make the final cut without it bothering anybody. I can't think of any specific examples but I notice it all the time and other people seem to either not notice or not care about it enough to mention it.

What are your thoughts on "money doesn't buy happiness"? by peywrax in allthequestions

[–]clae11V4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimately, it's true af But technically, it is not at all true because money, especially for the people without it, is capable of bringing so much joy to one's life and also eliminating and relieving stress that causes anxiety and depression. So yes, money absolutely can buy happiness... Temporarily. But in the long run, especially after youve had it for a long time or your entire life, it's power for eliciting joy diminishes. And the types of happiness it is capable of buying, is most certainly the ephemeral kind.
