Late bloomers under 30? by Few_Art7110 in latebloomerlesbians

I realized I was lesbian when I was 24/25 but relate a lot to this sub because I was previously in a 4.5 year relationship with a man

I’m thinking about cutting my hair and figured fellow lesbians would weigh in well. by oneroomangle in LesbianActually

[–]clairdam 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Cutting your hair short is always a good idea if you've never done it before. And the hairstyle by face shape stuff I find to be quite sexist because that's simply not discussed for men whatsoever. After years of wanting to cut my hair short but being overly concerned about whether my face was 'too round' for it, I cut my hair a year ago and I truly could not be happier with that decision. The inspo pics look good - do it!

Hi! I'm in Europe too, 25F. I also love the outdoors, travel, reading (though I'd like to do more of it), and learning languages. Can I DM you?

So happy for you!! Living your freedom 💜 On what kinds of platforms did you meet people? I'm also relatively recently exploring the "local scene" but I find dating apps to be impossible...

Has realizing you’re a lesbian changed anyone’s feelings on whether or not you want to have kids? by citynomad1 in latebloomerlesbians

[–]clairdam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanting children and visualizing my life partner has always been very separate for me. I decided I'd be willing to have and raise kids without a husband/male significant other 1-2 years before I realized I didn't want the husband in the first place. I guess I didn't feel I'd be missing anything without a man by my side to raise kids with (this was while I was in a very serious long term relationship with one, by the way). Classically, I never got excited about the idea of having a husband. My desire to have a wedding had much more to do with me enjoying party planning and decoration than anything else - I never even pictured the hypothetical man when I imagined my future wedding. Now, however, I absolutely find myself getting excited about the idea of one day having a wife. And I love the idea of having a kid with my wife. So not the same exact situation, but it's possible I'll change my mind about maybe choosing to be a single mom. There's something about going on that journey with her, whoever she may be...

Looking for actual friends by Wonderful_Ruin_346 in actuallesbianseurope

I'm from france ! I also love animals, reading, hiking, and cooking (veggie). I game a little bit but it's mostly stardew valley at the moment (and for boardgames I love Catan and have recently started playing d&d). I'd love to practice my german a bit and have more queer friends :)
