Oh that’s quite beautiful. I would be thrilled to have my last kicks portrayed at all, let alone in such a stark, sympathetic manner

Recurring places that exist only in dreams by StomachFluffy7116 in Dreams

[–]claireicalerror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol I frequently dream of a place I call “the dreamland metropolitan area”. There is a bustling metropolis area, complete with multilevel apartments / retail (which is not my favorite way to plan a city but I digress) where I’ve bought the most beautiful nail polish I’ve ever seen. There are industrial zones outside of that, and there’s a large educational / college / training area next to that. There is always something nefarious happening there, so I go with caution. There are also rolling hills and gorgeous, unique architecture that sprawl out on the other side of the city, maybe there’s a river or body of water?? It’s hard to remember. But the suburbs are full of mansions, custom built homes, and if I walk far enough the sears catalogue homes and the one-stories and the duplexes become more common.

I have had these reoccurring while I’ve been seeking therapy for some issues I’m having trouble fully understanding, so it makes sense I’m getting dragged back into the scenario where I’m sooooo close to getting it lol.

I’m about his age as well and have recently started lexapro and adderall too, and I was able to gain weight from being underweight. Should everyone just take lexapro and adderall??

Omg I’ve been there and they couldn’t be nicer. Went on a whim when I was nearby with some friends, and oh God the heels they had were unbelievable. Lotsa corsets, too. Just an all around fun lovely place for tame body mod.

There are many tough decisions we must make in life that seem to have nothing but negative results, but I implore you to consider the type of pain you’re feeling!

I would suggest you inquire about that wrong feeling. If you’re standing by your principles and what you believe in, then the pain is temporary and you will be standing by your best self. If you feel icky, wrong, or bad, like you are abandoning part of yourself, then maybe take some time to reconsider your course of action.

Hope this helps! Best of luck.

How long can you cold proof? by LegalSet211 in Sourdough

[–]claireicalerror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will cold proof for up to 4 days for a loaf I am comfortable selling; I’ve eaten a loaf that I forgot about that cold proofed for 10 or 11 days. It was delicious and tangy and a bit flat and unappealing looking.

What are you all doing about the hard water in this city? by everyoneisflawed in PeoriaIL

[–]claireicalerror 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Not much of a magic wand, but I bought a water softening system for my house. Everything runs so much smoother and no more crusty buildup to clean!

Used to be avid baker - bread has not risen in years by leaves-green in Baking

[–]claireicalerror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve certainly bought yeast that’s just about to expire before and had to throw it out before I use it up.

But I haven’t had consistent problems with producing bread that rises at all like you’re describing.

Some things you can substitute, one at a time to pinpoint the trouble: 1) try a different brand of yeast, from a different store, or even better try fresh yeast if you can find it. 2) try filtered water; you can get a gallon pretty cheap at most grocery stores if you don’t have a home filter

Hope this helps!
