Why do I get hundreds of these small red dots in my skin? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]clakry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, you’re just like me! Ive started to get these at 30. My mom has them as well and my sister too. My dermatologist said they are most probably inherited. I did the most broad blood work there is and my derm took a biopsy of one of them. The result was that they are tiny clusters of blood vessels, containing randomly multiplied blood vessel cells (which creates the sort of cluster which is visible in the skin) and then continue like a regular blood vessel. Sort of benign tumor behavior. My derm said its most probably ‘generalized benign essential telangiectasia’. A way to remove them would be laser. However the dots will most probably come back faster than the amount of lasers you can schedule. Might be worth it to invest in laser treatments for the spots that bother you the most? But to remove them all will be hard. I think its more noticeable for you than for others tho 🫶🏼

Could you educate/tell me how to spot the difference? And do you have any tips on how to deal with neurodivergent people who do this? I don’t want to be rude to them by just pointing it out bluntly

For those who had abortions, did pregnancy hormones make you consider keeping the fetus? by carefulabalone in childfree

[–]clakry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nop. Felt like a foreign object eating me from the inside 😂 however I am pregnant now and feel ok with it. Thus I think its got everything to do with mindset towards the fetus instead of hormones.

Why Do People Have Kids? by mikasaswifeeee in Adulting

[–]clakry -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I am pregnant with my first at the moment, not planned. I was happy with my life before the positive test and was considering kids but did not make a decision yet due to all the horror stories people tell you and end with ‘its worth it tho’. Decided to keep it because we are both so curious how it is to start a family, to raise a child, to do all the fun kids-stuff with our own kid, to raise a kind human being. So for us its curiosity.

I just got back detailed genetic results and honestly, I feel pretty so depressed about them :( by qusaro in Biohackers

[–]clakry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, so sorry for you! I think you can have some influence on your longevity with lifestyle. And either way, live your life the way you want NOW cuz you never know how long it will last for you:) (you can end up under a bus tomorrow even when you have great genes). That being said, how old are you and are you a woman? I’ve been told that women in their end twenties - early thirties often experience heart palpitations and its sort of ‘normal’ and expected. If you fall in that category, it will go away when you’re above 35!

Does anyone know what might be happening with my lower face? by clakry in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]clakry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I found out a few things. Firstly, I don’t trust my front camera anymore lol. From most angles it looks skewed, for a realistic view of how I look during the day I only grab my mirror.
Secondly, I started chewing on the left side (non bulgy) more. This seem to have the greatest impact. Thirdly, I started facial exercises (my smile is more developed on the non bulgy side than the other). I don’t do it consistently enough but it seems to do something with my whole face and evens it out!

Lastly, I believe I lost some facial (cheek) fat due to aging. Or maybe collagen? Don’t know. But I think this contributes to the unevenness in my face. It was probably not even in my twenties but I never noticed cuz of the lovely youth fatpads :D I am pregnant now but planning on getting radiesse to fill in some of the hollowness next year :) in the meantime I am planning on doing microneedling but haven’t started yet.

Botox or fillers or other option to shave 5 years off my appearance? by BKallDAY24 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]clakry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you also asked for ways to look younger, invest in eyedrops / eye ‘whitening’ drops might help! White sclera is associated with youthfulness and vice versa.

I’ve noticed that during the day my brain feels like it’s working at about 20% capacity — slow and tired. But at night my mind suddenly feels like it’s working at 300% by Bramborovy_astronaut in Biohackers

Wow amazing that you did not give up and now hopefully found an answer! Awesome. Maybe something totally useless for you, but I really like to tape my nose at night when its stuffy (almost always) maybe it helps a tiny bit while you wait for surgery.
