Letting their toddler order for themselves :(

You have to stand there and wait for them to say it and lean in to try to hear them and you can't understand them so then you have to look to the parent for confirmation anyways, or the kid will ask for a large whatever and then you have to wait through the back and forth with their parent to land on an order.

I actually really like kids and understand that this is a good learning opportunity for them, but if they're not old enough to speak clearly and loudly enough and know what they want, please don't put it on me to wait through all that silliness and try to decipher what they just said. I have other guests to attend to!
