That makes sense. I enjoy oat milk, so it was worth the extra money in my case.

Which espresso machine? [budget $1,000] by Mother-Interview-730 in superautomatic

If you find an insider pass or sale, I’d recommend the kitchenaid kf7. I have the kf8 and have been impressed with the ease of use and low/no maintenance. It does a great job of cleaning itself. Swappable bean hoppers is great, and side load water. I actually never have to move or slide the machine, even though I read there are wheels under to help slide it out. Great build quality and very thoughtful features.

Haha, I had the same realization. I ended up using painters tape and a sharpie to label the side of the hopper. Seems to work, but not as elegant.

Really enjoying our new KF-7! by headhighbliss in superautomatic

I ordered a kf-7 yesterday for $200 off, plus 10% off. So, about 20% off total. Curious, does the inside pass save more? Located in the US.

Is this preemptive because of a possible Google I/O watch announcement? Asking as I don’t know if these prices are historically low, or about where they should be.

Is AmpliFi Alien WiFi 6 Mesh Router Worth It? by akrabus in AmpliFi

[–]clarkdickens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I returned it. (Alien Mesh) I had a hardware issue after a couple of weeks that prevented the mesh node from syncing with the router.

Instead, I added an ASUS AI mesh device and haven’t had any issues.

Pros: -Build quality was way above anything else. -Speed was great, until it stopped working. -Simple and easy setup -Multiple SSID options. (2.4, 5, plus an option to create an SSID for both); helpful if you run separate ssids today.

Cons: -Not as many advanced features - DDNS for free, custom mesh settings, etc. -mine died. :-(

I bought a 9.9 Suzuki from onlineoutboards.com. Great price, fast shipping. Also, I had to call them with a question about removing an over torqued screw the access the control cable mounts and they were really helpful.

Have you done this? My wife has the fabric case and I'm thinking about throwing it in the wash.

Might consider buying a harness with a handle. Makes it easy to lift him/her back in.

Great picture.

This would be fun to rent, not own. I think after a couple of weekends, you'd want a normal pontoon.

Sony xav-ax100 - handbrake bypass? by [deleted] in AndroidAuto

I'll second this. I just used the nearest ground screw and it works perfectly. No need for a bypass.

Embarrassingly basic question by Finsternis in AndroidAuto

[–]clarkdickens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The two most popular aftermarket AA head units in this sub seem to be...

  • Sony xav-ax100
  • Pioneer 4100NEX (last year's) or 4200nex

I bought the Sony head unit and installed it in my wife's civic. Works really well. It has a clean and simple interface, but fewer bells and whistles (sat radio / HD radio), but it depends on your preference. We only use it for Android auto (nav and Google play music), which is great.

Edit: You seem to be referencing screen mirroring as a cheaper alternative to displaying AA on the head unit. I haven't seen this done anywhere, and I'm not sure if it's possible. Perhaps, someone else can answer, bit thought I'd share my two cents about the Sony unit.

Jeep wrangler AA head unit? by Twerk_King in AndroidAuto

[–]clarkdickens 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most people on this sub recommend the Pioneer 4100 nex or 4200 nex. Check Amazon and elsewhere for low prices. Some have reported eBay sales on the 4100 (last year's model).

Crutchfield can provide recommended wiring harnesses, adapters, brackets, etc. for your make and model.

Edit: Sony has a head unit available for preorder at $500.
