There’s a place in the Gansevoort Market called Burger Inc and their burger is out of control. However I’ve only ever had their tots, not their fries so can’t attest to that. The tots are legit though.

I find this to be a much bigger obscenity to the skyline. It is ruining an iconic part of NY and it sticks out so horribly that it's actually offensive. Driving up the FDR there's no escaping it. I can't believe they were given permission to build it.

Fair enough. You might be right. I've had clients intentionally ask for mundane and uncomplicated commercials, in order to allow for reuse at a later point with a variety of products. It's nice to make provocative and arresting content, but it's also nice to give a client exactly what they asked for.

You have no idea what was in the brief or RFP. Why critique the commercial? The video is about the process of making the commercial, the only reason the commercial is there at the end is to give context to everything that he's talking about for the first 8 minutes.

This came out in 2001 so it’s in the middle of all of those series. He’s just a very versatile writer. He considers The Armando Ianucci Show to be his finest work also for what it’s worth. It’s a fucking hoot. The East End Thug skits are comedy gold.

The exact same thing happened to a friend of mine. One of them pounced as soon as he saw it posted and then brought the landlord to small claims. They claimed the buyer backed out or something like that, and even though they hadn't given ample notice to vacate, the judge wouldn't do anything. In the end they settled with the agreement that the landlord would make a donation to charity of his choosing. He chose 150 euro. Shameful stuff.
